One of my favorite songs, and I thought the original music video was unbeatable... but this is pure genius! Who remembered how spooky-weird those old cartoons could be? Bravo!
I remember watching these cartoons when I was a little kid (3-6 years old, late 50's early 60's) on TV. Kiko and the Lavender Moon is so fitting with these old cartoons from the 30's. Excellent job putting it together. (Sort of scary and dark, but fitting.)
Stands on one foot doesn't even fall! can someone tell me wtfuck this beautiful madness is all about? Perhaps I'm supposed to figure it out myself. Whaddya think? Help me, Jesus.
+Carol Andrews I always thought the song was about a pet cat being curious about the world around him. It's sort of a dreamworld interpretation of a cat's eye view of the human world.

So evocative of childhood and nightmares -- got the spirit of the song completely. I loved it.

OK now this cartoon blending into what is already a pretty spooky tune was DEAD ON!
Bravissimo Luigi!
Incredible how the visuals and the music meld together. Both have a sinister feel to them when combined. Wonderful work on this video. Tremendous.
OUTSTANDING video to an already awesome song!
That's fun, but Kiko is a perfect song for a new rotoscope, whatever that is now.
This song always reminded me of those dancing skeletons even when the song first came out as a video. So glad someone had the same idea. Thank you!
Bravo! Very well choreographed.

I don't think you should feel you have to figure it out. It's got a psychedelic vibe. Just let the images play out to the funky seductive music.
@@Fan_Made_Videos Nicely put.
Wow, that is beautifully done. Bang on choice of visuals for the wonderful KIKO. Bravo!
I love this video ! Somebody with tech skills please clean it up !

Most of the clips are from old Cab Calloway Betty Boop cartoons.
I wanted a black cat so bad but still extraordinary in the concept and timing and a definite thumbs up #187
