    Thank you for making this video. My husband and I just bought two of these kayaks and will be taking them on our RV trips. Appreciate the detailed instructions!

    Best zeppelin video on UA-cam! Thank you for showing us your method for inflating and deflating. Excited to try mine out

    Thank you for this video. Very thorough and highly informative. I just purchased this kayak and had a hard time putting it back in the bag. Will follow the techniques you shared. Thank you. Also - what a beautiful area!

      Glad it helped! That’s why I made it. After I bought mine and put it together there was nothing I could find from Bote or from anyone on the Internet that showed how you could put it back away properly so I created one. Glad you liked it!

    Just bought one as an accessory for my 24ft Chaparral on a beautiful lake in Arizona. Looking forward to exploring coves when anchored. I appreciate your helpful informative video 😎

    I just bought this kayak and have been struggling to pack it up. Thank you, this is exactly what I needed to learn about.

      Awww! Great! That’s why I made it because the same thing happened to me. We pull things out and don’t quite always pay attention to how they go back. So I went on UA-cam and I could not find anything decent that explained it well, so my attempt was to do so. I’m glad it worked!

    Those curious about this boat have come to the right place: the video shows everything one needs to know before deciding to buy.
    The kayak looks very stable, but I still find that seat a bit high.

      Thanks! When I bought the kayak I went on the Internet to see if anyone had a video on it because I didn’t remember exactly how to fold it all back up. What little I found was very horribly done so I decided to do one myself. This has been a great investment for me. Yes, the kayak is very stable. Even though I haven’t tried it, they say if you remove the seat you can use it as a paddleboard as well. The seat is actually very comfortably set. It’s easy to paddle and maneuver the kayak. It’s great for lakes! I recently took it down the Vltava river in the Czech Republic. Yep I dragged it all the way to the Czech Republic. Which really isn’t something that I would recommend. The airplane was no problem but it was a pain in the butt on the train! Ha! Anyway, the Vltava River is a very smooth, moving river and the kayak handled and did great on it. However, there are these, for the lack of a better word, water slides along the way that creates some rapids. I went through the first one quite well even though I got a fair amount of water in the kayak. The second one I did not fare so well. The rapids were much bigger, coming out of the water slide and it turn the kayak over. So for a while the kayak and I traversed the rapids until the water slowed down. Let’s just say it was not a good experience! So I said all of that to say this. It is not made for any kind of white water rafting. I bought my kayak at Costco. Nice thing about buying anything at Costco is this you don’t like it for any reason you can return it. So on that note, I would say give it a try I think you’ll really like it. Also, you might like my video, Kayaking the Vltava River.

      @@pagosaredswhatsoutthere5708, Vltava sounds like my kind of river. Sadly, I only know about it from Bedřich Smetana's symphonic piece. I will watch the video which came out of your Czech adventure right after I write my response; thank you for sharing it!
      Rapids can do that to a boat whose tubes are not very high. People who still take such kayaks to white water are prepared to get wet - or wear a dry suit so that does not happen.
      The video is great; your comment comes to include the extra details people would want to know before choosing the Zeppelin Aero kayak.

    Thanks for making this video, I never knew I could remove the bottom board from the platoon. That will make it so much easier next time when I pack it back in the bag.

      Thanks! Yes, I think it packs much tighter that way. You can then get everything in the bag. Which if you backpack it in always. I’ve put mine on my back about 4 times but didn’t go to far. Once I did about 1/4 of a mile. Much easier when everything is in the bag.

    Thank you for a great how-to! I'm considering purchasing this kayak. I'm a woman in her sixties with mild arthritic hands, and I'm interested in an inflatable kayak for ease of transport and storage. Also, how do you know when you've reached the appropriate PSI? I wouldn't want to overinflate it and shorten its lifespan. I'm relatively short, so I'm curious about footrests. It appears you're using the bow, but I don't think my legs would reach that far
    Would you buy it again?

    How was it getting out of? Does the seat sitting higher facilitate an easier exit for those that find it difficult to get out of a sit-in hard kayak?

    • @pagosaredswhatsoutthere5708
      @pagosaredswhatsoutthere5708  5 місяців тому +2

      Yes, it’s much easier to get out of. Once you’re in about 8 inches of water you just turn towards which side you want to get out on and stand up. You don’t want to be in much less than 8 inches of water or the rudder on the back will drag on the ground.

    I know this is a 10’ kayak, why does it look like it’s 7’when people are paddling it? Im 6’3” and have to jump to touch a basketball rim (10’), what’s wrong with this picture?

    • @pagosaredswhatsoutthere5708
      @pagosaredswhatsoutthere5708  Місяць тому +1

      It’s because of the way you set up high on it. If you were down in it, it would look different. I’m 6’ 2”and weigh 200 pounds. So if you look at the video, you can see that it works just fine!

      @@pagosaredswhatsoutthere5708 thanks, I’ll take your word for it that it is a 10’ kayak, just looks like if I laid down in it I would be end-to-end

      I bought mine at Costco. I don’t know if they’re still carrying them or not. You can always go there and look at it live or go online to Bote.com.

      How long ago did you get it at costco? I looked at Costco online and it doesn't show this kayak. I noticed the company has it on sale for $499. @pagosaredswhatsoutthere5708
