Little fun fact. The word Mannequin comes from the word Manneken. This was a little wooden doll where the Cloth salesmen of Tilburg would showcase their textiles on for their customers. Their French customers obviously could not pronounce Manneken so it became Mannequin out of their mouths.
A kroket is a meat ragout with a crust of breadcrumbs, deep fried. No cheese or potatoes involved. Normally it is sausage -shaped, but McDonald's made a patty shape.
