Draper is a bogan dope. He was not on to anything. Smith was gone twelve months ago and we all knew; Macrae no longer has a spot in the team. He's too slow and his kicking seriously lacks penetration. No good in the modern game. Draper suggested players would be leaving purely due to Bevo and there is absolutely no evidence of this.
Idk where this narrative of Bont not performing through the midfield has come from - he had 4 clearances (game high) in the first quarter where the game was still an arm wrestle. Moved out and Hawks got away from them
@@terbsy Close - Macrae WAS a gun. The game gets faster every season and he is just too slow unfortunately. He will be forever loved by Dogs fans but he is no longer best 22.
I think the doggies have done a quiet rebuild over the last few years and they will be better off for it going forward, wouldn’t be surprised if they made a prelim next year. Good spine that has developed this year and they were very unlucky to come up against the most in form side in the competition.
Would you swap Bevo for Hinkley? I mean two Grand Finals and and one Premiership. I know the game moves on, but think of Port and the thrashing they are going to get this weekend. Good coaches aren't easy to find, that's the problem. If it were the EPL you can get coaches from all around the world, Ange is suffering now at Spurs because he's competing against football minds that can defeat his footy brain. There are a few teams that need new good coaches now in the AFL, Josh Carr will just continue the pain at Port, they need a finals winner there in a hurry, and Josh ain't it. The Dogs if they get the chocolates next year and Bevo has two premierships under his belt we'll be singing his praises. Hinkley is dead in the water.
As a dogs fan I've been a bit worried about culture and relationships for years. The 2016 premiership side, 8 of those players left to go play at other clubs. I know some were due to bad culture and behaviour in the club but its still a worrying stat. And then there is more who have come into the club since who have left too.
@@mitch369 I've been saying that since they started leaving, so many premiership players leaving the club when they were smack bang in the middle of the window and now it looks like round 2 has started.

As a Bulldogs fan I was super disappointed that Mcrea was the sub over Harms. Macrae was awesome in the back end of the year. Bevo has a history of making dodgy selection calls for finals. Yes. Apparently Daicos, Sicily, Heeney, Gawn, Butters, Merrett, Neill, Cripps, Brayshaw, Green and others are all leaving their respective clubs to go to Geelong as well

Barrett a NMFC supporter has a negative view on Clarkson & Club (gets under my skin as north fan) so next up he’s certainly got it against Bevo, a premiership coach….wtf! Players will clash with coaches, vice versa, but measuring Bevo on players who want out not what he has developed, what he’s achieved for a football club which has been kicked about is unfair & subjective, how about measure the players output game on game & how that’s made the team / club successful directly, make it tangible ….oh no thats not going to generate sales we just blame the coach ….
