I've always wanted to drive this car. I had the Megane RS 265 and the Clio RS 220 Trophy after. It felt really boring compared to the Megane but i've always heard amazing things about this Mark 3. Now I'm on the FK8 Type R and finally beats the Megane in terms of driving enjoyment.

This is just my opinion, but Clios were enjoyable until the third generation. I think there is nothing better than a good naturally aspirated engine in a light body, in terms of driving experience.🤐☺️
@@Speedfanatic Unfortunately the era of aspirated engines is over. I'm curious what Renault will do next. I was looking at the Megane Trophy 300, but was not available yet when I got the R. Honda is perfect driving car in every respect, and you sit so low, like in a Cup car. Only problem is lack of noise. Even the gearbox is the best I've tried, the feel is crazy.
It is very sad, but true, it's over. Almost only the Mazda don't give it up and that's why i love it🥰 Megane 3 was perfect, but I would also choose FK8 instead of Megane 4...Just need an exhaust and will be noise😆 I also had 3 hondas before, they have the best gearbox, no question.
@@Speedfanatic Unfortunately I'm stuck in Canada until July due to this epidemic, the car is in Romania. Driving style here is horrible, there is no discipline in North America and you drive like a snail. It's prison for driving enthusiasts.

Sounds amazing man! Great video! You have the full system installed? The evo pipe and slip on? Any drone or rasp in real life? Thanks for your feedback as I’m planning to install one. Just debating of i should go for the evo pipe and keep the stock muffler or change both.
Thank you!😊 This is the evo one and I don't have any experience with the slip on version. There is a lot of vibrating in this Clio but this is because of the Powerflex engine mounts, not the Akra. There is a little raspy noise around 3k RPM, nevertheless, I recommend the evo version.🙂

I had the same car with exactly the same exaust... but I did not have the same pop and bang sound... have you done other modification ?

But Slip-on line doesn't give this tunes, just the Evolution one, i think.

@@Speedfanatic hey man I finally went on a road trip with my Cup 2s and there was a BMW M140i, 7R stage 1 , Type R, F80 M3 and 7R Oettiger . I was leading most of the time and when I let the 7R Oettiger to lead I passed inside a corner up a mountain pass
