I read some people's questions here about whether a geometric mean could be 'between' two numbers not listed in the sequences. I could be horribly wrong although I don't think that is possible? I think it's more better if you use the +- because geometric s uses a alternative signs, ex : 4, _, 36. The 12 could be a negative or perhaps a positive, so It's more practical if you use +- :)
