The Heaviest Dive Watch I've Ever Reviewed - Massive 2000M German Diver

- Today I will check out the NauticFish 2T watch; the 2T stands for 2-Thusunt, an old German word for "thousand". This is a 2000 meter water resistant dive watch. It is a full 300 grams (2/3 of a pound!) complete with solid link bracelet.
The 45mm diameter diver is powered by the automatic ETA 2824-2 movement and is Made in Germany. Utilizing professional construction techniques, a helium escape/relief valve is not necessary on this watch.
This beast must be seen to be appreciated.
Please check it out at: www.longisland...
Thank you for watching.
Very cool!!! A dive watch that's heavy enough to drown you hahaha. Awesome watch.
It sure is!
That 3D Print Guy that is the good thing thats why they build a heavy five watch so you don't need put a extra weight to dive
dive
So I just received this watch today! It's SOOOOOO cool. I think you guys are selling this watch short when you say not very many people would like it. Yes, its heavy but still wearable. I'm a big guy so any watch short of about 41MM looks like I'm wearing a ladies watch but this watch is needed in the collection of anyone who collects divers. It's German over engineering at it's best with the heart of a Swiss workhorse. The fit and finish are incredible. My daily driver is a Grand Seiko GMT and I'm thinking this watch is going to get equal time on my wrist.
That’s cool
Love the dial on this one
This watch saved me in a street fight. I quickly took my belt off and attached it to it, then flailed it like a ball and chain. Last i heard the guys jaw is still wired shut! Thanks for the awesome watch!
LOL
So it was YOU! I'll get you yet Mgrsdgfsd Afsdgrsdgfsdg.
I was thinking you could just backhand someone with that thing and knock them into next week 🤣🤣
@@bogrot69 brutal spinning backfist.
@@eightfifty2309 Indeed 🤣
That’s a serious looking watch. I want one.
Just saw this while browsing w/coffee the Long Island Watch site - fell in love with it instantly. It went straight on my future list of aquisitions. Such a different and impressive piece of engineering. As such, 300 grams is just twice my Seiko 5.
The kind of watch that when you accidentally smack it against a table, you check the table for damage...
for real man, this thing is a beast but i like it
Lol
I would definitely wear that for recreational diving if I could afford it and was still diving. That is the coolest diver ever!❤️
Great video - thank you very much! It was so good I have just ordered one on Chrono24 and have a 4-6 week wait period whilst it is handmade in the factory in Germany 😎
Fantastic watch!!!!!
That thing is massive. Me likey!
That's one way to put it.
Impressive looks, impressive 1000m engineering. Thanks for showing us this interesting watch.
Thank you!! Very valuable information regarding real dive watches
Thanks for watching.
6:10 "two-thirds of a pound, pre-cooked weight" -- I always enjoy your sense of humor Marc -- That is a serious watch. Gotta love German engineering.
Thanks. It's a dry humor :)
Serious tools for serious work. Thanks for sharing this cool watch.
Yes it is!
Very impressive timepiece. Thanks for sharing.
That’s like wearing 2 SKXs on one wrist
Perfect for those that like to wear two watches.
Big German watch. Like wearing a Panzer tank. Big pummeling weapon used in self defense vz sharks and thugs. Awesome. The bracelet looks like a tanks track. Bad ass
Zzygyy I totally agree with you. A well timed fling to the head would probably be enough to put someone into a coma.
Thanks!
Cool watch! If for no other reason, the over-engineered approach is something I appreciate. It would be too big for my little wrists, but would be awesome for a beefy scuba diver who likes it deep!
Yup, a real tool!
Very impressive watch : 2000 m and no hellium valve, With 45 mm diameter it has a reasonable width. The swiss 2824 movement has very good reputation. Very good watch indeed.
Thanks!
I just ordered it! I have to have this one!
Awesome!
Apparently the movement is now, SW-20A according to their website.
I want this extremely solid steel watch now
:)
The 'Terminator' of diver watches..
Really Awesome piece.
Thanks for watching.
I WANT THIS WATCH
I really like the hands!
They are nice and simple, yet legible.
Who would buy it? I would. Love how the second hand seems to blend in and pops up a bit towards the indices pointer.
It is a handsome, chunky watch. Not just another oversized POS.
Long Island Watch I agree. What's the price on that piece?
Definitely my kind of watch. $1349 isn't a bad price at all.
No, it isn't horrible. About right.
Love this watch, Marc. Think price is ok for quality of piece. German precision and almost ultimate divers. This is one I'd love to own. Thanks for great reviews again and best regards from Adrian in Sheffield England 😀
Thanks for checking it out Adrian! Appreciate it.
A built-for-purpose look, nice. I'd expect a complementary silicone strap - something adjustable for a wetsuit sleeve.
I agree with you there; sort of surprised.
Does it come with a disclaimer about possibly sinking into the abyss, never to be seen again? :)
LOL, you and the watch!
That thing is awesome
Thanks.
Only slightly heavier than my 47mm 300m Invicta diver.
Serious diver's watch. If I was a serious diver, I'd go for this. All things considered, the price isn't bad.
Thanks Ron; no, the price isn't bad.
That´s it's not a watch, it's a submarine.
It can survive as one.
Ok so the watch can stand pressure up to 2000m underwater. But can humans survive 2000m underwater? I imagine if humans do go so deep, they are in a vessel which are pressurized. So does that make the 2000m resistance become obsolete?
So large yet thinner than the Speedmaster 57!
Perfect. That would look great on my wrist. I'm a big ol dude though. I will look into maybe acquiring one. Looks like it's similar in size to my UTS4000. Also 45mm German made beast. Lol. :-)
A watch built for Andre the Giant!
They are same weight 300+ gr as Boshett, As well as the deal on these watch same as Borealis and many people hate that
And in my opinion they are not better looking then them, with three bezels switchable different colour
Nothing like when the screwing action is very pleasant lol
:)
Looks like a strap code Super Engineer II bracelet. Truly built like a TANK ... if you crossed a tank with a submarine! Caution: Not approved for self-defense (but we think it'd do very well)
Haha, it sure would hold it's own.
3:26 How is it hackable if the second hand moves with the crown out?
I'm more surprised by the fact that it's supposed to be a 2824-2 in there (according to the description) and yet, it doesn't hack...
You have good eyes. I took the piece I used for the video, and checked it, it hacks. I tried it 20 times. It hacked every time. The only thing I can think of is I had it on the very edge of setting mode as I am wearing gloves and cannot feel the crown click.
looks like a SINN
Fresh How does it compare to a Rolex? How is it powered? How much?
perfect for Hulk's wrist
Indeed.
The beast is so large that it eats the HE atoms. No escape valve necessary
I have one excellent build
Amazing!
Thank Tom.
I have a Borealis Seafarer diver 44mm x 15.7mm x 53mm which I've owneed for around 15 months. It has a helium release valve and believe it or not a 4000m water resistance. It has a beautiful azure dial with a matching pepsi bezel in a mix of azure and orange. In my opinion a far prettier watch compared to the NauticFish. It comes in stainless steel body and bracelet and a runs on a Miyota 9015. My Seafarer is a heavy watch, I've not weighed it but I don't think its as heavy as 200g. Overall I'd say the Borealis micro brand watches are fantastic quality and I'd recommend you check them out.
Thanks for commenting.
i do like this piece very much but being an invicta flu survivor, i just can't go there anymore. somehow to be an edc, for me it would have to go on a hunger strike, but it is a beautiful REAL work watch.
Understood. Thanks for commenting.
Bomb proof!
I have 8.5” wrists. This would be perfect!
It would!
Definitely a big piece. Would like to see this watch on someone with a 7 1/2 + wrist.
Probably still good presence.
Magister Ludi The Sieko SBDX017 MM300 is an absolute beauty of a diver and IMHO is very hard to beat at the price range.
Is that a freakin pressed clasp???!!!!!
If your submarine needs a watch strapped to it (on the outside of course...) this will be it!
Is it safe to take in the shower?
Hahaha!
Hot water could compromise the seals like any other dive watch?
Never wear any watch in the shower, as a general rule. Hot water + soaps and shampoos won't do the seals any favors.
I would love to see a duel/compare with a Sinn UX Diver.
Would be a good comparison.
I wonder if the no diver extension is because their target user would only wear it over a suitwet. Many diver extension look like a good place for the bracket to fail. I doubt someone actually using this as a back-up to there dive computer, would wear this when they aren't diving. I just don't know why one would have any need to know the date a mile below the surface.
Interesting point.
Who needs weight belts for diving when you got this thing on?!!!
“The missing diver was found at the bottom of the ocean with something locked and weighted on his wrist……..more news at 11.”
Love it! But the hour hand is too small. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for checking it out.
These are called plongeur hands, you find them on many real dive watches.
Great, now you don't have to bring all the lead weights...
I if you wore that watch over your clenched fist it would be classed as a knuckleduster!.
All that super beef engineering and what looks like a pressed clasp? Is that a pressed clasp?
Yes, I think they could have done better there.
Try an invicta sea hunter... 1lb dive watch.. 70mm to crown its a beast
Sounds like a biggie???
That's pretty light for Aragon.
True!
Hey Mark! Thanks for showing us this monster. I agree that no many guys will buy this to go around, but that's a tool not a toy ir a fashion accessory. Pro divers will like it to use as a backup for their dive computers. How do they screw a glass?
I thought about that for a bit after he mentioned it and I'm not sure, but my guess is that it's not that the crystal is threaded, but that the castellated part is separate from the bezel and it screws down on to the crystal, a little like a nut.
I picture it to be more like a jam nut, rather than glass screwed; as this would be a horrendous seal.
Meh, I've been wearing an Invicta Grand Diver at ~220g every single day for the last four or five years. I don't even feel it anymore and I'm sure that I wouldn't feel that one after awhile either.
Hmmm...looks like you will need a pipe wrench to turn the bezel!
Turns nicely surprisingly.
It costs 1090 Euro over here in Germany. For that I don‘t accept this clasp.
Other than that: Great, but...
Marc, another wonderful video. I like the watch. And with its measurements, it could fit my wrist. I may get some hate over this, but the size puts it in Invicta territory.
No worries, I agree with you. The size is insanity.
german engineering is the finest in the world
I want it
This is a pretty cool watch, but I would have preferred it without a date. I given it's boldness, the more minimalist look would have served it well.
Thanks for watching
i agree this is a prime example of when a watch would look great as a time only piece.
Thats about 3000 psi at 2000 meters. So basically park a car on either side of the case.
It's a helluva pressure.
Think I'd a bigger desk!
Perfect for Desk Diving!
Ho diver extension?!
Benarus Megalodon 2500m is 365 grams…
Makes me want to become a saturation diver just to justify buying this watch. lol
LOL!
Well it could be a tough anchor
Sure can.
Buy two, take off the bracelets and use them as spare treads for your Panzer.
LOL!
Not a technical compression diver, but if I were, will I wouldn't need 2000 m of water resistance. I know a couple of ex compression /technical divers who worked on the oil rigs in the 70ths and until 1982, during the so called pioneer period, and they were using dive watches which wouldn't stand up to today's quality control. Of course these divers are all a lot older than me but unfortunately several of them died due both their bad gear and the lack of proper technical know how back then. Both of the ones I know had their crystal shatter more than once when decompressing.
Good to know that crystal cracking is real.
what wristwatches did they use?
I think Ball's hydrocarbon deepquest and Seiko's 1000m marinemasters are far superior in design n built quality compared to this watch. The dial looks cheap, design of the case reminded me of the cheap Invicta pro diver watch.
Pref my Sinn U2
Love Sinn!
Yeah it's awesome and equally able to be a self defence weapon 😂
I sold a U1 (owned for 10 years) for a U200 SDR (EZM8) which is also 2000m rated (certified by DNV GL) in a 37mm diameter case. Really pleased with how it fits on the wrist.
Gregory Paul Box wow beautiful watch...I would have like to buy one if I could have got a new one
Put a little color contrast in your video.
VICTOLINOX WACHE IS #1
It look like a skyscraper.I like heavy watch but this is way too massive, I’ve got a 7” wrist. Well, 2000 meters is pretty impressive per se. Price wise I think is acceptable for its construction moreover it’s a true dive watch.
Thanks Steve. I agree on all points.
Want one if i can afford one...hehe
Still can drool.
A mere $1350...I will have it.
And I would still be scared to take it into water...
LOL, I hear you!
Big fishy watch. Wow! Lume was not impressive. 🤔 Thanx Marc.
Welcome! Thanks for watching.
The second hand pip is too small from a design point of view.
Thanks for watching.
No hacking :)
It does, see my response to a similar comment below; I think it was my mistake in handling it.
So I don't have to go to the gym
LOL
😮😮😮👍👍👍
Can you tell me how do I contact you?
Oh please Sr, sell to me 1 pound of watch.
Thin sliced?
Long Island Watch 🤔
I could wear less weight while diving!😂
wheb talking about "made in germany" how much of to value has to actually be made in germany
Not fully defined like the Swiss standard, yet.
