All I can say is, thank the Lord! You read my mind. I have only been watching video logs for around a month and had seen so many vintage style dresses, I was beginning to lose hope that other sewers made 'every day' garments. Thank you. the patterns look wonderful and super wearable.
These patterns are amazing, and just the right challenge to work towards for a relative beginner! Helps that they're all right up my street fashion wise as well. ❤
Excited about this book, very tempted to buy it but wondering if its targeted more for the slimmer silhouette. Not sure how someone curvy like me might benefit from the jeans/skirt which seems better suited for slimmer silhouettes, and a floppy coat would probably make me look even bigger! Wish it was more of a structured coat/more of a trench with buttons and belt
No photos yet, but I just wore my long Lola coat (I made two short ones before, all in different wool, or 'wool' fabrics) for the first time, and it's just drop-dead gorgeous, though I'm the one saying it, and even though I'm still struggling with giving the collar and the mid-side panels a neat finish. For this one, I went with some black (original, I know) Italian wool that frays a bit too much for my taste, but the sheen and draping are just beautiful. I cannot believe how forgiving this pattern is... And I can definitely see how you can become addicted to it!
Beautiful, Well done, congratulations to everyone from SOI ... Super excited about the ebook and the concept is well thought through. Love every single pattern. LIsa, you are so talented, you keep suprising me over and aver again.
Yes, I am beginning again and it's hard enough time-wise so I just can't tackle PDF patterns quite yet. I would buy this in a heart beat if they were paper versions. Maybe later. Too too too cute.
lovely patterns and styling Lisa -my daughter erin inevitably wants the erin skirt for college - all of these patterns would be good for a student capsule wardrobe too x
This is beautiful - I'll definitely be treating myself to a copy. I was thinking that if you used the right sort of fabric you could use Lola as a cardigan pattern too. Such a versatile collection, that will definitely be making its way into my wardrobe. Well done to everyone involved!
These are some fantastic minimalistic adaptive patterns. I love every one and already purchased my copy 😀, now if I can only add about 10 more hours to the day😎 to work on them.
Love, love, love! And still a slight nod to vintage style 😉. Is it only on download? Is there a possibility this might be a physical book to buy in the future? I prefer actual books
love it all! I've been working on creating my me-made wardrobe lately because all my store-bought things are getting too worn out and just don't fit all that well. I might have to invest in this book because these look like my standard everyday clothes I already wear!
It's amazing book and gorgeous idea for capsule wardrobe! 😍😍😍💓 And thank you for making it ebook - it's easy to get asap and get into making those treasures😊💓
Hi Lisa! I just got your book and already got some fabrics, so excited to start making your beautiful patterns! One quick question: do you think the Lola coat would come out nice if made in a pointe knit? Or a jacquard knit? Thank you!
I am so tempted by this book! really good value with 5 patterns! a question: to sew the Jersey top, would I need to use a serger or a double needle for my regular machine? I don't have a serger, and my machine seems to hate my double needle.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! This book is fabulous!! I personally would have preferred a paper version though, sorry. Not everyone have a home printer, I don't have one for example. I could get the book printed somewhere but that means an extra-cost ....
Looks like a great ebook! I'm new to them in general and live in USA. Wondering what the size ranges are. Also, does your book include U.S. measurements (inches, yardage, etc.)?
Is that WA DC, Or state? If your coming here, I'd love to go. I am in love with the coat/jacket pattern. So lovely and flattering, I think for all body types.
HOLA LINDA MUJER........... TANTO TIEMPO SIN VERTE............. ME ENCANTA TU ROPA . SE VE MUYYYYYYYYY COMODA Y MIS HIJAS SE VERÍAN TAN LINDA COMO TU CON ESOS VESTIDOS Y POLERAS...TE FELICITO............... CUIDATE.. CHAUUUU
