The 90s look owes itself to one man: the late great Kevyn Aucoin whose name is synonymous with contouring, a technique he picked up via Way Bandy and "Designing Your Face". Just look at any session of Kevyn working with models like Cindy Crawford or Linda Evangelista or Naomi Cambell. He would blank out their face and draw on a new one. The difference was he would blend, blend, blend, and blend some more. It would take him an hour just to lay down the foundation of highlight, neutral and contour. Nowadays the trend is to leave a more obvious line of demarcation but blended or not it's still a lot of product and a lot of contouring.
The thing is that she is gorgeous and doesnt need contouring. But is a technoque that actually helps people with not so gratis features

I knew this was a more of a 90’s look because that is when I learned to do my own makeup and still do it much the same (and always get complements, which is nice). I have never seen anything wrong with it and honestly it’s still the basic, natural look. Love this.

You know what I like doing for the no makeup, makeup look, is to use a darker color foundation on my eyelids and creases. I definitely love using cream color for my cheeks as well. It just looks more natural. As a 46 year old woman, natural just brings out "me."

90's were the ugliest models of all time. Linda couldn't get a job in all 3 fashion capitols, even her husband (owner of a modeling agency in France) said she was average, knew how to hide her flaws, & became famous on pure determination. (And manipulation of photogs). Christy is blah, & Kate Moss "waif"...or "like a boy).

When you live in a world where famous people are your friends or colleagues, it's not name dropping - it's mentioning your friends. The difference is, when you mention your friends, nobody knows who they are. Or cares.
