thanks for the info im going to look at a 1983 grady white overnighter with a 225 johnson outboard did some research about those particular models and people say watch for transom rot and stringer rot..i had a 1971 22ft mako so im a little more familiar with those issues but i think i can get this boat for 2500 bucks so unless its sopping wet inside which we will see i think i will get it..

The boat I am about to buy is from 1978. And fiberglass. The owner said all it needs is a new paint job and a replaced engine filter. It is a Trojan F32 Classic Sedan.

trust me pay the money for the survey, you ll never get morrage , or insurance. especially if its old.. i learned this one myslef
