This is the first ever, Tiffany Ad. spot which I thumbed down. Tiffany has had classical appeal written all over it for ages. Modernism and Classical approaches & philosophies are 180's of each other. I cant speak for all the Tiffany & Co. clients, so Ill speak for myself. My purchases from Tiffany have been solely because the name, Tiffany & Co exudes classical, old world philosophies, grace & charm. If I wanted something "Modern" Id grab it off the Home Shopping Channel or internet. In my opinion what has made Tiffany & Co. stand out for all these years is, their ability to buck fashion trends and instead go for independent and individual style. As style is personal and Fashion & Trends are ever changing. Tiffany & Co. has never went out of there way to fit in with their competition. Instead, doing the 180 of what else all in the field were doing, has brought them continued success....as being different/unique historically speaking, has brought most the success they desire. In closing, just my humble opinion; No reason to change what's not broken with - "Unapologetically Modern."
