Salam. Dear Sheikh Belal, thank you for bringing up this topic. I have a great Tip to avoid this addiction. One should delay watching it, the same way we delay going good deeds. Tell yourself that you are going to watch it but not right now, a bit later. And then continue delaying it, by a day, a week, a month and so on. You should have talk about the triggers, how social media is like pornography, how some people have tight clothes that show everything or almost not wearing nothing. I think the best you can do for yourself and your future is to delete all social media and not looking at everything and everyone. Be dedicated and have discipline to your fate. No feeling is better than that and no feeling lasts longer. The addiction is short and temporary. Believe me is just a habit you get over it faster than you think. The brain is plastic it’s going to rewire fast. That feeling of being disciplined and strong. If you can control your sexual energy you can control everything. You will reach levels you never thought you could achieve. Stop wasting your energy on things that only make you weaker. Stay strong, embrace the power of your deen and Allah. During covid, many accepted islam and studied islam online. I enjoyed lock down because i was able to focus more on الله almost like ramadan! Alhamdulilah! Social distancing was awesome. I didnt agree with the vaccines however.

This is something that I have struggled with before, however I don't watch porn anymore but still sometimes commit the sin of self abuse (although less then I used to) doing my salat's and fasting certainly helps from falling into it. I'm willing to do everything and anything to overcome this addiction for the sake of Allah s.w.t. However I always tend to relapse when I'm in the bathroom/shower, that is the hardest thing for me because it is when I'm most vulnerable to sinning and most vulnerable to the shaytan and jinn.

Its not just porn thats the issue. Its masturbation. Which leads to porn and addiction of course but its best to not do both all together and do daily prayers, ask Allah to guide you and proctect you dont give up Allah will find a way for you. If you feel guilty after doing it its one of the first sign of emaan, Allah is telling you that its no good for you. Why do we feel guilty? Because our heart is telling us its wrong and bad for us. Just contemplate on it and pray to Allah. He WILL find a way for you.
