Another great video-couple of quick notes: Starting today Monday June 3rd the breakfast potatoes are now diced potatoes mixed with onions, red peppers, garlic butter and chives. They have discontinued the wedge potatoes
And in most restaurants liquid eggs in a bag are used for scrambled or omelets due to the sheer volume used. And the eggs used for over easy or medium, poached, etc are pre cracked prior to service to speed the process up.
I personally think the seasonal pancakes are too sweet but knew Todd would enjoy them

Thank goodness I was never a fan of those wedges. I didn’t know the eggs were pre cracked. They were pretty good but definitely prefer the fall pancakes. Hope everything is going great at the job.

Hi Todd & Michelle, we just watched your vlog and it was hilarious😂 Michelle was really on form. It started when you showed your plate first and you had to apologise and let Michelle show her plate. Then the tasting of the pancakes was next , but Todd stood his ground and maintained they were great. The scrambled eggs were next, but on this I do agree with Michelle, if you ask for eggs you should get eggs. Then there wasn’t enough ice in the tea. I do agree with Todd they maintain an honest view of the food and this comment isn’t any way a criticism, it was just so funny to watch. Please carry on the way you are 👍🤣
Bill as I was editing this video I laughed at just how goofy we are. We just film our meal as it comes and just try to show our experiences. We in no way take this as Criticism. We have annual passes and live in Tampa, and mostly do day trips but we do long weekends and at least one full week trip during the year. It’s almost become a pain going to Disney restaurants. We LOVE the boathouse and I used to get their sea of Cortez shrimp, usually 5 or 6, the filet sliders and a drink or two. To do that these days would cost $120 for one person. Disney is a destination, I get it, and there are hidden gems still, happy hours at a couple places and there’s always great places off property. I found your channel looking for places to eat around Orlando when we were on a weekend trip a while back. Keep up the great work and enjoy those $6.00 iced teas! 😝

I wholeheartedly agree with you Michelle, when they advertise 2 eggs any way you want them, that’s what you would expect to get! That’s deceiving the customers as far as I’m concerned. They should state on the menu, if you order scrambled eggs, they will use liquid eggs! The public shouldn’t have to ask for real eggs if ordering scrambled eggs! Thank you for bringing that to our attention, Michelle, since not too many of us would notice it!

Disney is getting out of control with the prices, quality and everything else, as far as I am concerned.
Been going since 1976 when I was 9 years old and have spent $1000s over the past few decades....sad changes, lots of changes for the worse. I wish they would take Walts name out and replace it with shareholders names...cuz this isnt the Magical place we once knew and Walt dreamed of
Sadly a lot of things in life are getting that way. From the grocery stores and all of the retailers seem to Jack up prices for that bottom line. Food has gotten crazy expensive in Orlando restaurants. There are fewer and fewer deals to be had. We still visit Disney but it’s definitely changing. I really enjoy Steak House 71! But Michelle your exactly correct about scrambled eggs!! But unfortunately most places serve powder or liquid egg forms, now u know we have to go the extra step to ask for fresh eggs ! And some places add some pancake batter to the egg omelettes !! Yes it’s true!! Makes omelettes appear big and fluffy!!!

Happy Birthday Becca! Michelle, thanks so much for bringing up the scrambled eggs! I think we all know when you’re at a buffet breakfast you can expect those liquid/powdered eggs…but, when your at a sit down breakfast ordering off of a menu and your entrees description says “2 eggs any way” you are expecting 2 eggs cracked and prepared however you ordered them! I find it ridiculous that you have to ask for REAL scrambled eggs! Now we know to ask for them 😊. As always, another great video 😊

I was reluctant years ago to take the time to like/subscribe, because I thought for some reason it wouldn't be a good idea. I was wrong! Both entrees looked so good!! But my husband is like Michele and orders the savory and I’m usually always the sweets person lol and we were at the plaza restaurant yesterday and I use to live in Orlando but why does the water taste like lead?? lol is it just me?? Always a great video!!!❤❤

Thanks for this re the eggs I didn’t know that they do that especially as it says 2 eggs done your way I would of thought it would be real eggs like Michelle says the cook time would be the same whether they were liquid egg or real eggs I’m going to make sure I ask when we come to Disney world in September I don’t like the liquid egg substitute 😊

Michelle....the pre-beaten eggs they served you are real eggs, no different than an egg you would crack. I worked at a hotel that had free breakfast and the only thing added to the eggs is citric acid which prevents them from turning green on a buffet. Personally, I prefer the pre-beaten eggs to cracked eggs when dining out because most restaurants use a fork and not a whisk to beat them up.
Oh we totally agree. They just seem to be a little tougher and compact. The second eggs were absolutely fantastic and a lighter airier egg. Our waitress said she also preferred the Pre-beaten eggs. Thanks so much for the info and traveling along with us. We hope you you have a fantastic week
@@TravelingAroundDisney I bet they were sitting on the steam table which will continue to cook them, turning them hard. Prepared fresh they shouldn't be any different. Also, that's what they use on all the cruise ships for omelets. But, the scrambled eggs are usually powder from my experience.

We actually went to Gator Dockside tonight and they serve gator as an appetizer. It is behind the Magic Kingdom about 8 minutes away. We always enjoy it. Thanks for traveling along and being part of our traveling family. Let us know what you think if you try it.
