Fitting a bikini fairing to your R Nine T.

Pondering fitting a bikini fairing to your R Nine T? Well I just fitted a Active brand (Galespeed) bikini jobbie to my bike and I reckon she looks pretty sexy. Good for another 500rpm around the track so I'm told so I can't wait to get the old girl out for a floggin (once lockdown ends, dammit!)

I like it, Very nice. I am a firm believer a half fairing makes every NEO/retro bike a lot nicer, cooler and easier to ride at high speed. My 2014 BMW R9T roadster is the original black storm metallic and I have a black Wunderlich Daytona fairing mounted on it. I love it it’s so perfect looking with that fairing and when travelling at highway speeds, like 160 to 180 kph I can duck down underneath just a bit. Feels perfect to me. But I don’t care for lowered bars, instead I raised mine with Hornig 30 mm raisers and it’s just a great upright riding position now.

May I ask PLEASE, WHERE did you purchase your 30mm raisers from? And the cost?
Can I assume they will fit on a 2022 R9t Urban?

Don’t love the look but I suspect the difference it makes at speed might be worth the slight cosmetic compromise
