- On January 25, 1859, in the evening, Don Bosco announced that Magone was not the one he had intended to name as being close to eternal life. He said they all should continue to be prepared so that the boy who was to die would not be surprised by an unprepared death. And he added, “This second death will occur before a month passes. Will it be me? Will it be one of you? Let us be prepared.”

I'm a lector for our parish and oh do I feel bad if I have an error while reading the Words of our God. BUT St. Tekawitha helped my attitude with my mistakes. When she made bead patterns on the warriors' waist belts, she would always intentionally put a bead out of place, for she said "Only God is perfect!!" Thank you for sharing your devout love for St. Bosco. Abundant blessings be upon you and yours.

I had a son of don Bosco who taught me, as a student in Valdocco, He was exactly for me as a Father, a true copy of don Bosco. Thank God and Don Bosco, alleluia!.

There is a Don Bosco youth center in Malawi 🇲🇼, Lilongwe city.
We must all be constantly preparing for death. It is the greatest thing that will ever happen to us, and we, unlike Michael Magone do not have a saintly priest to warn and prepare us for our final moments.
Thank God we have the stories of St. John Bosco’s life!
