Super 🎷🎷🎷🎷
Waw !
You are a crazy player! Love it !! Damn!! Keep up the good work!!
Ps. How did you removed the solo track ? 🎸🤟
Thanksss for the kind words bro! It takes hours because each section is different (for a full song) but it's a lot of playing with phase, separate different frequencies for bass etc. I'll probably make a video on that, you should sub so that you dont miss that or the next cover, it also helps me do more, cheers! 🎸🤩
Hey man! any tips to get that liquid tone on the mark IV? sounds awesome :D
Hey bud! Thanks, a few things:
- I'd say shy away from the exaggerated V shape on the EQ : a little more 750 (slightly above bottom line), but most importantly LESS 6600hz, a little above the midline at best (sometimes even go below).
- unconventional but, don't hesitate to go up to 3-4 on the bass dial AND just below 7 on the treble (like 6), it'll change a lot about the feel and gain.
- Low presence, pushed or pulled, go for no more than 3 (like 2.5).
- IMPORTANT: that'll be muddy IF you don't play loud enough (need to feel air pushed on a palm mute through cab), if you're playing lower, use an OD (with gain up like 10 oclock and level at 2 oclock), it'll tighten up the bass while adding gain and liquid, soft feel. If your volume is higher and u like the OD for leads like i do, fine, but adjust your Gain and Drive settings on the Mark IV.
If you use IRs, dont put your mics too close to the center, but not so far that it's mushy.
Hope it helps man ;)
@@axepharaoh That's actually super useful, I never would've guess it haha thanks a lot!!
@@ceniam12 Don't hesitate to experiment, especially given the fact that it all changes depending on volume, room etc but it's important guidelines for sure, glad it helped u to get some general insight, have fun and rock on ;)
Nice playing! A question though, how did you get the isolated tracks?
Thanks ^^ I didn't get them, I made them, it takes a long time to make, but I want all my covers to be without original guitars, i hate hearing the originals behind, it took years to understand how to do it though, too long to explain, but I might make a video on that at some point ^^'
I just realized it might be confusing, when i say i made them, i dont mean I recreated the tracks, I made the BT by carefully removing original guitars, challenge is to retain the clarity of the track and instruments, you see so many BT done this way that sound like it's under water 😆
Oh ok. I've never really been able to do stuff like that. Thanks for replying.
Fantastic job my friend!!!!!!
Thanks a lot man :D Help me reach 100 followers if you feel like it, I got good stuff coming ;)
