Kids are never selfish and if your child is selfish that is a personality that you helped create.. think of a child as a human being in relation to your friends or adults so if you can't talk trash to your friends why do you think it's okay to be mean to your child...if a child is selfish it's just a reflection of who you are.

I like the way you, @Akothee, involve your daughters not all parents can do that...The key thing in bringing up a kid is finding a way to bring him/her close, this will create confidence in opening to a parent and free to express what she/he is going through...remember discipline is a must ooooh.

I never knew that once you become a mother, you develop some mean characters but in a good way.Mothers always want the best for their kids.We grew up in a home where we had househelps from a tender age to high school.It used to piss me off when my mom used to send them away.But now, I appreciate my mom more than anything cz chasing them away taught us how to do house chores, prepare menu for the next meal, and general responsibilties that are very vital not only in marriage but in life.
The association of children has officially declared that: leave us in peace when you find us seated relaxing in peace,we know we have not washed the dishes and we will eventually do so before the sun goes down, 😀thank you our Moms we love you but we want you to understand this fact😍
