I too need to say "my bad" when I questioned Adam about not mentioning MIB in his video too. He told me to wait a few days, then go back and correct my comment about it on his video, but I'll do it here instead.
Awesome filming locations video, my friend! I had forgotten about MIB until I saw this video. Hilarious movie! 🤣😂🤣 Thank you for sharing, and stay safe. 🙌
11:30 Part of the intro to the tv show King of queens was filmed there. Doug and Carrie are playing in the grass, and Arthur is walking by in the background.
thank you Tampa Jay, awesome video! now it makes sense why Adam didn't comment anything about men in black when you guys were there! again, awesome video sir!
Wow 🤩 another amazing job on this film location vlog! I love and appreciate when you put an original screenshot in the right hand corner, like a Picture in Picture, while showing the current location. It makes it very relatable and interesting when you do that. You always show how much the filming locations mean to you! Then watching you and Adam together is extra fun. Great NYC series with baseball, eateries and filming locations! Kudos , these were great ⚾️🗽👍
Hey Tampa Jay, I love these videos, so fascinating. You put alot of work into these and it shows. I bet there's still hundreds of films you want to do, hope you can do one of my favs someday, Wargames. BTW, my DJ Kitty is coming UPS today, bought it on Ray's Republic. You and Cris got me hooked on DJ Kitty, lol. 😊
I had a feeling when you were out at the fairgrounds the other day and you mentioned your were getting footage for a 2nd video that an MIB shooting location video was on the way :)
The first Men in Black was my favorite. Just watched Buzz Feeds history of the real men in black very interesting. As always thx 4 taking us all along on your movie location tour
I had no idea so much of this movie was filmed on location. A lot of scenes, like right outside the pawn shop, the stairway to the medical examiners, and other street scenes, almost looked like they were filmed on a Hollywood studio backlot.
I worked in a building like on the same block as the MIB headquarters for over 20 years. It’s a beautiful building but pretty small. It’s on the same block as the oldest public park in the country as well as the bank that financed the Titanic. It’s a Citibank now I believe. Broadway was originally a trading route established by the Lenape and Munsee Indians and is still the Broadway we know and love today.
This was awesome Agent J! lol I have actually met the voice actor that voiced Frank the Pug and he is the same voice actor that voiced Johnny 5 in Short Circuit.
Great vid. At 21:38 kind of interesting that the tree trunk on the left with the overhanging branch is so much thinner than now. I've always wondered how the movie makers can film in a busy city like this. I guess they rope off areas and have specific traffic appear in scenes. It's got to be a complicated situation.
I love the Men In Black movies. I own all 3. The first one has to be the favorite, obviously. Then part 3 then part 2, if i were to rank them. Idk, maybe 2 and 3 would be switched out. Depends
Hi Mr TJ, I am getting slow, only 11 like, this looks good love a bit of mib. All the work you put into these is appreciated, Aliens could be here already......ps did I just watch this , I remember a bright light then my memory went blank,, arrrh well I will now watch this video
I knew it was MIB! The project you were working on. Being from NYC when you said you needed battery park and then in Queens once you said flushing park was another location that sealed it. Lol
I recently did a New York trip dude your video influenced me and I got everywhere except Flushing Meadows Corona Park. I got Battery Park but couldn’t snap a picture of the scene where they sit on the bench talking because they were doing construction unfortunately but oh well at least I was there and got to see Clinton Castle which is beautiful. I was happy with it. It was a real treat to be there at those filming locations. I still have my Men In Black VHS from the 90’s. It was a nice long humid walk for me to the Guggenheim but well worth it and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir is practically right across from the Guggenheim in Central Park before that wall that the alien guy gets pinned up against and I was able to snag a film location from there. When you’re in NY dude you can’t pass up the opportunity
I used to work in that building just to let you know there is no elevator in the building and when you walk in you only see stairs a small stairs going up and and stairs going down. Yes that is the original doors actually I was there when they kind of repainted it to make it look different and the plaque you see on the right hand side that says Brooklyn battery tunnel is actually made out of plastic not metal My old boss actually has it in his office. The MTA put a gate around the facility because after 9/11 and terrorist but then when they made part two to the movie they actually took the gate down just to film the scenes and then after the scenes were done the fences went right back up but this time much better they even put plants around the area because there was none
TampaJay.... Frank Loyd Wright designed several buildings at Florida Southern College in Lakeland Fl. There was also part of a Seaquest DSV episode shot there. Might be a quick content vid for you should you need it simeday.
Tampa Jay im now sure if you will read this message after a month but the park ave location at the end, looks like the same location from I Am Legend where will smith shot fred. I could be wrong but it looks the same😊
OK, now I know why Adam did not bring up the disk from the New York Pavilion being in MIB, he was saving that for Jay. It kind of irked me watching his video and having him not bring up the MIB tie in. BTW Jay, during the scene at Shea Stadium, that was an actual Met (Bernard Gilkey) not an actor who has the fly ball bounce off his head as he is distracted by the bug's space ship.
@@TampaJay i will have to watch it mate in case i might have missed it justin scarred did a video few years ago but one of his video pretty sure he was going to go back to nyc to do another video sadley he might not had the time to do another video on it thank you for showing ghostbuster in nyc and it i might never experinced in my life time nyc is a big place

Now I have to forgive Adam for not mentioning MIB when you guys were at the world fair sight. Thanks for covering it👍
We never like to spoil stuff

I just posted the same thing! I commented on Adam's vid about that! Great minds...
I left a comment about the MIB world's fair location too, but I did not know TJ had his own Vlog. My bad.
@Tampa Jay that shows great respect for each other 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing NYC has been fun indeed.
Excellent Outro..J & A 🕶 🕶
Awesome filming locations video, my friend! I had forgotten about MIB until I saw this video. Hilarious movie! 🤣😂🤣

You brought back some fun memories...now I'll have to re-watch the movie!

Wow that’s awesome great show! Jerry Stiller

This was so fun!! I love the matching of locations with the film. Awesome job!
Was looking forward to this one when you gave the hint! Thanks Jay.
Thanks Ronald glad you caught the hint and the video!

Hi Jay. Thanks for this video. I recognized some spots of my NYC visit a couple of years ago. Just not realising that MIB was filmed there
Thank you Rene
