I am planning to buy the older aluminum bezel 41 Hydroconquest for my birthday this year, in-fact this month. Do you think I should go ahead with this one? its about 1000$
The aluminum bezel will wear overtime and the movement is not the new 60 hour power reserve movement on that watch. If you are into the style of the old one and its a daily wear watch or a once in a while watch then the power reserve does not matter. I think you can probably find it for under 1K. Maybe wait for Black Friday and see if you can get it on sale. I like the look of the old one a lot, its very recognizable. Fo myself, I would opt for the longer power reserve and ceramic bezel but that is obvious because it's what I have in the video. @@rightwristonly8796 thank you. I'll go check them out
Awesome! Gonna get one for my 50th! How much does this bad boy weigh? Cheers
Oooh ah I have sold this watch since I made this so I don’t have an exact weight. Also that will depend on your wrist size and how many links you do or don’t have to take out of the bracelet. I do recall it being on the beaver side though given it’s case size.
How’s the lume light up compare to some seiko prospex?
Seiko is the high water mark for anything under 5k so this doesn’t hold up when compared to them but it’s still good.
Try both of them on and see if one fits better then the other and then make your decision.
@@rightwristonly8796 The older style in 39mm from 2019 has the newer L888.3 calibre with 64 hours power reserve, just don't buy the models with L3.640 on the case back as those ones house the old calibre. The new 39mm with model number L3.741 are the ones to get. That been said this version is a nice watch on the Longines rubber strap and clasp.
great review, but, please, add more light for following videos
Hi David. Thanks for the feedback. I have made sure to use a brighter space on videos that I have recorded after this one. I will continue to do so on future videos. Check out the Pelagos video I did for some better lighting.
great review! although the lighting could be better
Thanks for the interest in my video. Other commenters have shared your sentiment. If you check out my newer videos I have improved the lighting. I purchased some bounce lights😁.
A beautiful watch and an excellent review, but for me it was too much when you placed it on your right wrist. Sorry, just me.
Thank you.
Also lol the name on my channel is Right Wrist Only - should have given you a hint where the watch was going to land.
@@rightwristonly8796I'm guilty of not reading the title, as I was mesmorised by the beauty of the watch. Still, loved the review 😊
We need more darkness in the video, the watch is still showing. Other than that, good video👍
Jeezuz man is this a review of the watch or the inconvenience of the watch moving in its box during shipping? Earth to RWO. This is a great watch that kicks Rolex butt.
I cover the packaging for about 30 seconds.
This is a good watch but if you think it “kicks Rolex butt “ you don’t own a Rolex and you don’t understand the difference in build quality. Rolex is over hyped and has a cult following but not so much that this slightly above standard eta movement is better.
Purchased the ceramic blue model 6 months ago. Sold 1 week later. Its a nice piece but no where near the price it sells for. Maybe if it cost me around 600.00 I would've kept it.
Yeah dude I totally get it ...... although why not just return it unless you made cash on the sale. I do think the watch has many merits but there is a lot out there between $800-3k. I actually also let mine go.
Wow... that was really bay packaged. I am shocked. Nice watch though!
Yeah it was a surprise to me too. I have picked up AliExpress $120 watches that had better packaging. It is a beautiful watch but I have come to believe it’s over valued.
@@rightwristonly8796 I was looking at this particular watch or the CW Trident Pro 600, and I think I’ll get the CW.
I’m currently in the process of uploading an unboxing of the CW Sealander. Love it
I feel disappointed by how the bracelet looks so cheap, scratch, and the crown takes ages to tighten. I might get one with the silicone band.
critising the packaging, but unboxing over a stone table top .... ??? how consistent can one be :-)
hope you didn't play with the dials between 0800pm and 0300pm ...
You lost me on this one - why don’t you like my table?
@@rightwristonly8796 nothing wrong with your table ... but if you drop your watch on it, I don't think your watch will like it ... that was the point ;-)
please tell me lug to lug
Voice of the Longines bracelet called "China voice" by premium watch owners🤷♂️ This mistake should be fixed by Longines..
The bracelet is one of the reasons I let this watch go. Although not the main reason. Bracelets can always be swapped but at this price point the watch should come with a much better quality clasp.
Without light...
You dont need the 'S' when you spell the Brand. Longin is enough...
Thanks bud
No such thing as watch hacking in the watch world. I used to work in Jewellery.
Please explain further? Are you saying no watches hack? If so you are flatly wrong. Please let me know what you are trying to say.
@@rightwristonly8796 PC's hack, you can 'get into code' eg: Hacking is the act of gaining unauthorized access to data in a system or computer. You can adjust a watch eg: time, date and hands, but you cannot access or change data from mechanical watches because they don't hold data.
You need more lighting in your videos.
Next time use more lighting.
The bracelet is really not very good it’s only drawback
I really don't see anything special about this watch, outdated clasp, pins holding the links at this price range? That's tax for fools wanting only to have a swiss watch. At this price point would take aquaracer all day long, much sexier.
That’s the crazy thing about watches, everyone has different tastes. You literally can’t find a watch review with a decent amount of comments and no one exclaiming another watch is better
Please just stop messing about so much and trying to make the videos longer, they just make the videos very irritating and boring, thanks.
Lol don’t watch my videos then
