I love boerbel . Buh just a little advice to him. Some breeds like his rottweilers Belgian mallinois all gaurd dogs need a pack leader . He has to do command training the dogs need to know u are the leader of the pack. From 1 year and above they make their own decisions this are smart breeds. And you wouldn't want them to make their own choices u can guess their outcome. The relationship has to be there n tight. Trust me if his dog attacks accidentally he wont stop it and it wont listen to him. Plus mouth guards are important when giving a walk this are strictly territory breeds.
Great dogs though for large breeds like the boerboels they need bigger kennels I couldn't help notice how small the kennel is for him at times it gets frustrating for them being confined in small spaces.
@@khemrajsingh541 Thank you sir. This is the reason we highlight different breeders so that they can learn from each other for those who might not have the right information.Thank you for your feedback sir.
I think you should also start a programme to educate people on how to handle dogs. What I see in that video is really sympathetic. It's like dog abuse from the cages to the leash. Kama nimekosea mtu mutanisamehe but as Kenyans we need to improve mostly we as dog lovers...
Good initiative....the self-confidence and all that but I would wish to correct you in some ways. Dogs aren't hard to train...just create more time for the training esp leash training during walks and expand the kennels Boerboels are a huge breed that requires enough space otherwise it may trigger stress and aggression towards people...good luck
Good breed. Word of caution to the host, don’t get to close to some of these canines especially from above. They can be very unpredictable. I work at a big hospital down here in Boston and we get a lot of dog bites from people trying to be friendly and in the owners presence. Please don’t lean your face into them!
The guy is actually chocking the dog, poor leash handling and he is misinformed. A dog is confident walking with the owner but this guy's dog wasn't comfortable. He needs a refresher course on dog handling.
Great dog, However for such a breed that grows and weighs alot, he needs to get a harness, couldn't help but notice the heavy breathing as a result of the collar and leash choking from how he handles it.
Tail docking is considered to be mutilation. Docked tails can develop a neuroma or nerve tumor. This can cause pain and make your dog snappy if its tail is touched.
It's really true that this guy started 2 years ago. So many half-truths, outright lies and figments of imagination. Maybe you can do some sort of verification before interviewing anyone. The best interview was from the guy in limuru, I think. Very knowledgeable.
Professional Breeders of Big Breeds dont give the puppys away before 8 to 12 Weeks. Becourse of the development of the puppys. OK He is pretty New to this Business but He was telling him self, know what you want + do your Research and than know what you want. But He will learn 👍
For someone whose looking to get a boerbol and watches this as their first encounter with a 'breeder' of the said breed is sadly discouraging. Kindly get breeders who've actually had theirs appraised through the Boerbol Association of East Africa
Good breed and awareness on the part of DogTV, but this breeder needs to improve on his spacial allowances for the dog kennels they were too small. Plus he was choking the dog with that leash.
Wannabe kennels abusing dogs. Kisungu mingi, na the black puppy is clearly malnourished. Guy claims to offer security services, while at the same time, his dog can't even follow basic commands like "sit" and clearly ignores him (so he resorts to chocking it). Those dog clearly don't view him as a pack leader. Dog psychology doesn't lie. An overconfident armature this one. Sad.
This guy is an amateur.Look at the way he is holding the dog belt. Also dog obedience /command.Very poor training.Size of kennels is also a big no for boerbels. He should learn a lot from Ceasor Milan.Unless his focus is just money(i don't see the passion)
I've never owned a dog and even I could tell that that's not the proper way to leash the dog. You could clearly see how it's choking and don't get me started on the kennels. Are these Elshaiwa people on UA-cam?
@@dogtvkenya We might be but it's important to verify what you are posting. Most of his 'facts' are incorrect and misleading the public. His understanding of the breed is virtually non existent.

The size of the kennels can be considered dog abuse... plus choking the dog as he walks it, clueless dude.
True.... The dog i literally choking
Almost stopped watching as soon as I heard that restricted breathing.. dog walks should have proper leashes..

Lifespan of dogs is usually 10 to 14yrs maximum depending on type of breed. Not 25 yrs

10-12 actually
A beautiful woman can make us men talk lies and nonsense.
Actually, the bigger the breed the shorter its lifespan. A boerboel's peak performance will be in the first ten years.

A harness will only encourage a dog to pull further. Dogs need to be trained not to pull.
