Great video Alex. Porto Christo looks beautiful. I spent an afternoon here a few years ago so thanks for bringing back many happy memories. Best wishes John (154 and 189 days to PP)
What a pretty little resort lots of old charm. I do like the traditional woven rush sun shades that one bar had in the video it’s not very often that you see them now. Thanks Alex.
Porto Cristo on a sunday Alex. You party animal. Lol. Prices are pretty reasonable there though. Looked nice there today but not very Christmassy. Palma's knicked all the lights :). Sorry i missed the livestream Alex. No notification but you saved my day and sanity. 😎
Oh no Glyn - I posted on the FB group, but I always assume everyone's a memeber there and they are not. Got back from an extreme day trip to Madrid and was extremely tired! And the weather was iffy too! Hope you had a good weekend!
@MallorcaUnderTheSun huh huh. So I didn't miss anything then. I forgot about you saying that you were going to the mainland. Hope you had a good trip and hey, welcome back..thanks Alex, :)
Porto Cristo was my first holiday abroad with my girlfriend circa 2000 - Although it seemed a bit quiet back then (We were into clubbing etc). We had a lovely time though and I remember 'Hotel Monteverde' near the Cuevas del Drach - I'd like to return, one day .
1 Mil, (1000 ptas), less than £5 in the eighties used to get me a pint of San Miguel, 3 large whisky and lemonades=drunk and a Bratwurst cob/sandwich at the end of the night to soak the drinks up. Happy days. A pint and 3 whisky's wouldn't touch the sides by the ninety's. 🤪
Been to Porto Cristo a few times, but never ventured uphill, into the town The market on Sunday in my eyes is awful. Catering more for locals. It's 150 yards long, and you're from 1 end to the other in about 4 minutes.
@MallorcaUnderTheSun Given the lack of space down at the harbour, making the market any larger is a bit tough. Maybe spread it out over the town like other markets across Mallorca do, then add more stalls. It just seemed like all they sold was cheese, sweets, olives, ornaments made from fruit wood.. that's it.. The best market we ever visited was in Sineu. And we can't wait to re-visit there..
@@cybi2684 The date it was made is not important - the information is! I do mention it was made in October (this is in the video!) but this doesn’t affect the info given. I am not a daily vlogger so my videos are not about the date I visited, rather what you need to know going there if you book at any given point during the holiday season. I hope that helps.

I don't think we've ever visited Porto Cristo. It looks lovely. Great video Alex.
Great video thank you Alex we went for the day from porto colom in may it was beautiful and very easy to get there by the bus
Thanks for watching April - I have Porto Colom coming up this winter too (more on my list of videos I haven't edited!).
Lovely video, Alex. I went there with my parents in 1967.
Oh wow! I bet it looks a little different!
Nice to see Porto cristo, been through on the coach some time ago. Lovely marina views. 😊
Thanks for watching this Caroline!

Thanks watching John, and I'm loving the countdown which is now 153 and 188 respectively ;)
What a fantastic video Alex. I totally didn’t realise the size of Porto Cristo. Very interesting to watch
Thanks Tommy - I hope you’ve had a great weekend !

Fabulous!! It is a lovely spot and so many fab places nearby too!

Haha, those were the days! Shots are a little more measured now in resorts...and more expensive!
Hello! What a nice video! I love them. Can you make a video of Cala Ratjada sometime? ❤ 😊 Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱!
Hello! Yes, I will !
13.44 myself and my gf, went to that restaurant. The food was out of this world, I can’t remember the name of it unfortunately
They’ve got some great spots along here !

@@MallorcaUnderTheSunthat's rarely rude of you....😥
@@cybi2684no problems - looking back I sounded rude too. It was the first comment I read after basically working on a Sunday.
Its so much better than Cala Bona
Hi Doreen! I'd love to know more!
Another resort that has moved the bus stop to the top of the hill. Not good for older people 😢
I saw the buses at the bottom of the marina (it's about half way in)... which ones go from the top?
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun but they don't go to Cala Bona 😏
