@@heatherthewindowwoman4835 it doesn't take much heat to soften up that glue so you can peel it off. Look up using heat gun to remove window tint. Same idea. 👍
That was smart standing on both sides of that multi position ladder. It looked real stable. I have the same ladder and stood on it also. If I don't extend it the rungs hurt the sides of my shins. The ladder has to be extended to give you room to have leg clearance. Thanks for the idea.
Hello Heather, I have a question for you. On a residential how do you clean windows with calcium buildup? What methods do you use? I’m going to quote a house next week and the owner said it had some calcium buildup on their basement windows. But I’d like to be prepared and do a reasonable quote. Thanks, Best regards José
Jose Munoz for hard water stains you need to feel the glass, feel for any deep indentation. If it’s mostly surface stains something like Bioclean hard water remover works well with the help of steel wool. If you feel hard etching that will need the work of a restoration kit such as Mr. Harwater (shop.mrhardwater.com/Mr-Hard-Water-DELUXE-Shower-Door-Window-Kit-USA-MHW-20110.htm). Don’t be discouraged if you can’t get all the stains off because some of these cases are a lost cause and often require the window to be replaced.
Flo Len I normally use Ettore soft rubber. For construction cleanup I have just clean water in my bucket (the water gets changed often) then a line of Myers soap directly on my scrubber and steel wool to work it in 👍🏻.
If you had access to a heat gun those huge decals would peel right off clean after heating it up. Great video!
NW Window Washing oh interesting🤔and that's safe on glass?
