When my sis is laying on bed using phone mom says nothing while im about to study, mom told me to do the household works knowing damn well they’re treating me differently even though Im the youngest. In most of the case youngest are treated like a spoiled princess and treated the best but my parents treat me the worst and still tell me I shouldn’t have been born. But still my sis lied that my parents love me the most and always complain while she’s doing nothing but complain. I have 3 sisters I’m talking about 1 sis

And also my mom give yummy foods to my sis the most. For example mom made a yummy dish she’ll put the dish more to my sis while putting less to mine. And always compare me with my sis saying that my sis grade is more than me while it’s not a big difference. And how would I get my marks while I’m doing the whole household works, and my mom complaining like I’m the only person responsible in the house. Yea... Food was either the last straw or the medium to break her dam... My sibling had to go through the same because of me but he never showed it to anyone but it was becoming apparent as the time went... It's really painful to watch so I stopped indulging and noticed how his attitude changed eventually....
Yet again I'd say sibling's bonds are stronger than that with the parents, more so in dysfunctional family, though speaking from experience but it still stands true that you and your sibling most likely will go through same shit if family problems is consistent and permanent and at the end of the day, only they'd understand eachother and the pain they go through... This scene was really heartbreaking, also makes me want to watch the k drama

I feel this. No matter how much you yell, they will never hear. No matter how much you think positive of it, they will always give back negative response. No matter how much you achieve and succeed, they will always be more proud of the others. It's tiring, it sucks, it hurts. There's no good karma, there's no appreciation, there's no sympathy. The only way to fix it is to leave them. They don't deserve you

Life is unfair, parents are unfair. So it's important to cherish those who cherishs you. I'm the middle child and have been treated unfairly for decades. I always thought that I cant wait to move out and be done with these disgusting relationships but my parents have been treating me much better after both my sisters left for university and marriage.
I have no doubt they will always be bias though because i can tell the different treatment whenever they are home but i dont really take it to heart anymore, as i have someone who loves and trusts me more than anyone had ever did. You'll grow numb to the bias and if you are up to it, kill them with kindness

Her parents also talk to her and understood that she always gave out more, that she's a sympathetic person and have the best personality. Their family have their own dynamics and it's fine. She got love from all her childhood friends, neighbors and school friends. She also received a thankful gift from her friends' parents for handling the epilepsy episode so well. There were even 2 outstanding guys who were chasing her.

No because I cried in this scene. She made so many adjustments to herself for her siblings. There were only two eggs left, she said she didn’t want any eggs that morning. Mr. Kim told her he bought her that chicken and to make sure she enjoys the legs and the mom gave them to her siblings without a second thought- and gave her the wing because she didn’t want her husband to eat it because he “would fly away”. She never fought back against her older sister even though she beat three girls almost single-handily so you know she could have beat her sister’s a**. The whole thing with the Walkman and her sister was sad too, never getting anything because her ungrateful, disobedient, disrespectful sister always came first.

Reply 1988 is my all time favorite kdrama. This drama is really long but still I was so mad over the fact that it had only 20 epis. Anyway when chicken scene came I was so mad at her mom. Mr kim gave the chicken to deok sun. But as she have a big heart she decided to share this with her family. Still she didn't get a good piece. When she brust out in tears on her sister's birthday I also cried with her. And her sister was hella selfish. She had superiority complex. And her mom and dad treated her like goddess. Just because she was a good student. We saw a character development after she started dating one of her sister's best friend. But still she was one of my least favorite character.

I know that feeling being the middle child was so stressfull in my life, I thought will be the second but my brother was the second. Well i know my parents didn't mean it that way but that was exactly what i feel being second child for small reasons so easily hurt and in the end, the feeling is just buried alone. 😭😭💔💔

True story of a middle child, even though their parents think that they treat every child same but it's not true, it's always the middle childs are left alone, even though they do & care the most for their parents and siblings

They do not understand her feelings, usually people keep treating that person badly who doesn't says anything. They think that person do not have feelings

There were many such heart-breaking scenes. Loved this K-Drama.

Why it's always the middle child ? We are not complaining we just want to be treated fairly 😢

I feel u ❤ im already numb to it and i try to focus on my other relationships and my relationships with my big and lil sister. Ask your parents to get their favorites to take care of them when they need help one day or when they need care when they are old. Then they will know the consequences of their bias

Seriously I miss my father. Had he been here I wouldn't have been treated like this ever. I am Deok-Sun.

I literally weep watching this video, such parents never deserve such nice children or kids ...

I know how it feels to be victim of favoritism by your own parent. Since I was a kid my mum used to tell me harsh truth about something I'm sad about and broke my heart time to time. Even till this day she does that.
But never saw her do that to my other sibling . She would go out of her , sometimes lie to make her happy but never cared about me.
