Swerve is very fluid and has a good mix of moves, from high flying, power and submission moves he can do almost anything. He's well rounded but his agility really speaks for itself.
Cutting away from a AEW WHC match to show Okada Jack Perry and the Bucks heading to TK's office tells you how little they think of Swerve.

You can tell what a company thinks of their World Champion by their placement on the card. This match was in the middle of the show. It wasn't on first and it wasn't on last instead its in the middle of the fucking show. Also when has any promotion cut to a backstage segment during any of their Champions matches epecially when its to further a storyline that does not even involve the Champion.....
Swerve as champion is the best thing for aew right now. His in ring ability is something different
He can do pretty much anything He's tough as nails, yet flashy and acrobatic.

Poor Swerve as Champion feels like an afterthought. Even on the PPV he won the focus was on Ospreys match. Then the Dynamtie after the focus is on the Bucks etc.

Both AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and Ring of Honor TV Champion Kyle Fletcher did a great job in this match. They both looked good throughout the match up.
They spent a literal minute and a half outside the ring, and Aubrey wasn't counting at all...ok AEW
Swerve deserves more. It took 1 show and Tony Khan is already booking him as a midcarder while the Young Bucks took up time during the match. The first show with the World Title should be more important.

Unfortunately even now he seems to be secondary which is sad. No promo and just a random match that they cut away from the promote the Jack Perry storyline. Even the PPV he won at all the focus was on Danielson match.

This just feels like exactly what they did with Hangman where they focused everything on the chase, and had no plan for a story to follow up on that momentum.
Joe felt like a serious world champion because he came out the next night and cut a promo that made him feel like a real champion, and immediately got himself into another storyline.

I don't know why did some if not most of the people hated Swerve winning the AEW world title on AEW Dynasty? He was already over and already chasing for the AEW world title and feuding for the title for a long time and got screwed many times in the process.

Good match..i just wish that they had built the story of the match to have Swerve dominant and then he took a risk with the stomp on the apron, got hurt and THEN thats when fletcher was able to get in his offense. You just beat Samoa Joe, fletcher shouldn't be keeping up with you unless its cause of a handicap. Especially since he is a member of Don callis heel group. You could have done it that way and STILL have everyone come out looking good.
