Cool trx-4 and the surroundings 😊❤
Cheers! It's not actually a TRX-4 though, it's a scale truck from Boom Racing; less capable but much better looking! 👍
The Landy looks great and your choice of location just adds to the scale of it. Great work 😁
Cheers! It needs a bit of an overhaul generally though, I reckon. 😎👍
perfect driving and control mate..looking so real🤗
great driving and control
keep going champ🤩
Great spot, one thing you do have is a lot of rocks. That's the one thing that's lacking here.
Thanks! It's actually been surprisingly hard to find suitable rocks where we've moved to - it's mostly either sheer cliff or piles of broken chunks. Or underwater... just about the only exposed rock is on the coast. This is a cool stretch here to be fair, and a beautiful beach, though if I could just persuade the sun to go in a completely different direction across the sky that would help...
But yes, despite our rocks being almost deliberately awkward, they do at least exist! So I really can't complain. 😎👍
Another good video, my Boom racing D90 did just that go boom ! the axles are shocking, now running a RC4WD D90 heritage
LOL. I've had some problems with worn bearings letting the axles eat gears, but otherwise mine have been okay... except I recently noticed the front wheels have kind of machined new flat faces into the c-hubs thanks to all the play, and that the inner rear axle sits off-centre by several millimetres. Yikes. So yeah, they're not the best axles... D90 Heritage sounds great, those things look lovely. I particularly like the green one. 😎👍
Awesome video making & crawler my friend! Really enjoy watching & love every angle shot. Liked & subbed😁👍🏼
Superb. What a lovely location and great filming. That first shot as you drive across the beach is 👌 good to see the D90 in action. T
That once again was awesome brother. Fantastic scenery and great crawling. This thing just looks great out there. Those back grounds? WOW
Thanks! I can't pan round to frozen waves or white pine forests, but it's still pretty lush here, it's true. I do need to get a handle on where the sun goes and at what time, though... I'm bad at planning these things!
Hi there Steve, a fantastic looking Land Rover, looks so so good out there. You’ve driven, captured, edited the action beautifully. Best wishes 😊
Thanks very much! It'll get a makeover at some point though, whenever I get round to it... 😎👍
Good run Steve, despite whatever's on your list of things to do to it. Love the look of this Landy. Very scale 🙂👍🏼
Awesome location to go for a run with the Land Rover, which looks smart indeed! Thank you Steve, I hope to see more of this truck and the absolutely magnificent surroundings very soon 🎬
Cheers as always, greatly appreciated, cool to see your rc Land Rover, driving action 😊👍
Thanks! It's in need of a bit of an overhaul, but it will be back - the foams have all collapsed, for a start, plus I've had an issue with the front axle for the second time. Rather than fix that yet again (and having it inevitably fail yet again) I'm planning an axle swap.
Good job it's got those roll bars, Steve! 😉😉 Great looking rig in a great location. She looks a little top-heavy (like my Landie) but then that's more like the real thing, eh? Hope to join you for a drive out there one day! Cheers mate!
Cheers! There's not much to it really... it's mostly about choosing your angles and then getting soaked by the rain! 🤣👍
What the hell... this response was on a totally different comment! I'll leave it in case it finds its way home (and makes this part make no sense).
Anyway, thanks, and yes - it's definitely looking top-heavy, which annoyed me and slightly perplexed me as I never noticed it before! I'm planning to take the cage off, among other things. And it'd be great to meet you in real life for a drive, yes! I've been getting into faster cars lately and have started racing a TT-02 (I'll probably race the Holiday Buggy once it's outdoor racing in the summer...), so we could drive all sorts! Hopefully this comment will appear, and in the right place too...
@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 Haha! Yes I was a bit confused by your first reply, so thanks for clearing that up! Cool you are into the faster stuff too, always good to mix it up a bit! Would be awesome to share some crawling time with you and learn form the master. I'm up for some high speed bashing any day of the week. I think you'll like the upcoming stuff I've got with Rob and RC Dom. Hope we can make this happen together one day. I'm determined to get well enough to travel further this year, you never know! All the best, mate! :O)
Nice video. Perfect setting. Yes, my Gelande II D90 clocks in at a hefty 12 US lbs. Those racks really add a lot of top heavy ballast. Seems your tires could use some stiffer foams, maybe 2 stage?
My god could it do with stiffer foams! I actually cut some footage of it turning on sideslopes because it was fully on the rims... I've always liked the cage, but I'm going to take it off for a while, I think. It's just leaning too much. Plus it needs a bit of an overhaul, somehow. I'm just not completely happy with it, but can't really figure out why. It's just not quite right. 🤷
still looking good the boom racing d90 tho
Thanks! It needs a bit of work now, but I'll figure it out. Maybe I'll go a bit more stock-looking.
It is a scale car of a model that was a great off-road, but not a rock crawler IMO. RC cars that are dedicated rock crawlers are usually very far from being 'scale'.
I agree! I gave it a good go, though. At least it looks cool while trying. 😎👍
Yep, landy,s can handle any terain , THERE UNSTOPPABLE 😇😇😁👌, Nice crawling, um thinks that stick is to big for Mr wolf, lol😂😂😂
Ha ha yes, Mr Wolf made me laugh with his determination (and his dainty footwork). 😎👍
How you install front bumper?? 😮
I think I replaced the stock bumper mount with the RC4WD one for the Gelande 2 / TF2. Then most bumpers fit because they're the common spacing.
Great off-road video my friend 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Thanks for sharing 🎉🎉🎉
Have a wonderful day 😊😊😊
Thanks very much, and you too! 😎👍
