Its so ironic that a story set in France about a French Opera Ghost and a French Diva called Christine has productions in differeng languages exepct French 😂 and how just before the first performance was gonna start a fire very near the Opera House broke out and caused enough damage for the production to ge cancelled. I think the Opera Ghost does not want a French production to be made. And ALW respected his decision 😂

The closest thing we Phans are getting to a French production of ALW's Phantom is the upcoming Canadian French Concert that is being heldin July in Montreal for two nights (Source: www.monumentnational.com/fr/programmation/fiche/le-fantome-de-lopera/). That's about it for now. Who knows when ALW will attempt to get the show up and running in France again.

les Miz was actually a french musical at the start, it never was successful. Then it was adapted in the english version we know and boom, masterpiece. To be fair, I don't think I would have liked a french version of Phantom, I think the french lyrics we hear there are less poetic in a sense than the original.

Yes, they were upset about the news that that the theater had burned down so they went out for drinks got a little tippys and ended up performing on the steps.

Not too many can alternate between the soprano songbook and the belting powerhouse selections as seamlessly as Celinde can. She does it so effortlessly. With her vocal and acting range. She is going to be a super star and much celebrated musical theatre artist. :)

It is such a shame this production was cancelled. I would have loved to see the French version in the Paris Opra House. I don't understand why they couldn't revive the project after repairs were made.
Kate Johnson He’s fluent in Icelandic and English. At least conversational in German and French. He has also sang in Russian and Italian. He is phenomenal. So sweet. And he will say something in another language if you ask. He is such an amazing man. So honored to call him a friend
Dylan Sun also those high notes are a killer on the voice, Christine is already a vocally challenging role for the other songs she sings, so most performances of the title song are lip synced to a track she records shortly after being cast so she doesn't ruin her voice eight shows a week (also the reason why there's an alternate who does matinees on Broadway and West End). Based on Sierra's "oh shit we didn't think this through" she knew she wasn't prepared so Manon (the understudy for this production) filled in.
