so, ill start with the image.
apps: ibis paint (you can use any app, but this is the one i use)
1 - find a picture of a fictional character you like. or an actor or singer or whatever image you want. download that image!
2 - open ibis paint
3 - make a new canvas and choose the size “1 : 1 (SD)”
4 - import the image and size it so that it’s in the shape of a square (so it fills the canvas) what we are doing is re sizing it so it’s a square! it can also be a rectangle if you want, like in this video, but i like doing a square
5 - download the new image you made and make a new project, this time, make it the size of a UA-cam video. 1920 x 1080 should work!
6 - import your square image of a character and center it so that it is in the middle of the rectangle. it should now look like a white rectangle with a square image in the center.
7 - make sure you are on the layer below the square image
8 - use the eyedropper/color selection tool to choose a color in the square image. (a color that matches with the picture)
9 - use the bucket tool to fill the image
10 - you should have a square image with a color surrounding it now!
