The robot can be programmed to follow any sewing path. There is a mimimum possible radius depending on the sewing machine used, and also on the sekected robot tool.
As mentioned a special patented 'pickup'-system.... manufactured here in Denmark. It picks the upper layer of almost all every type of fabric inclusive leather and fine materials without needle. If interested I can give you more details by contacting ulf@scandimatic.dk.
Le Future Proche installation for sewing with industrial robot.A pneumatic controlled needle-pick-up is used.I'd be appreciate, if you give me further information about it. It's very interessting for me!
I have a question: While the robot picks up and moves the t-shirt to the sewing machine to get stitched, is the sewing machine automatically turned on by the robot (meaning, is it connected in any way to the robot) or does a human have to manually use a foot pedal on the sewing machine for this process to work?
In the video a photo cell (sensing device) placed close to the needle, automatically starts the sewing machine when fabric is detected. An other possibility could be that the robot starts the sewing machine when it reaches a certain position.

can it follow curves of any sort?
Hi vikingulf can you help me to buy this robotic machine
Hi, do you have a website or contact info as I would have interest in this technology.

Hi Vikingulf, appreciate that if you can share with me the fabric gripper too.

@Vikingulf please give me the sensor module information, which sensor you used?

Hi Jean-Yves Moreau and others. I case of further information, apply an email to ulf@scandimatic.dk describing your interest in the sewing robot.

Esa operación la hago en la mitad de tiempo
no more 1000 dollars suit think you
Lo que está haciendo es sobrehilar,no está cosiendo una prenda.
Its correct that the system makes overlock sewing. The fabric is cut at the same time the stitching is made.
Very Slow,lose to China machines
This is 7 years ago....
Hi Vikingulf do you have more examples about sewing with robots?
