Vertical Scroll Compressors from Hitachi (for Remote Condensing Units & Heat Pump Applications)

Every part of Hitachi's vertical scroll compressors is engineered to maximise performance and long-term reliability.
For example, each compressor uses a unique high-side pressure design. Direct suction leads to improved volumetric efficiency with no wasted superheat. Keeping oil within the compressor also means reduced oil return and superior reliability.
In a system with two or more vertical scroll compressors working in parallel, there is a further advantage. This dynamic oil balancing means no oil equalisation line is required between each compressor, simplifying the design of the overall system and reducing applied cost.
To meet the requirements for greater energy efficiency, Hitachi's variable speed scroll compressors are pre-qualified for use with the Optidrive Coolvert range of inverter drives from Invertek Drives.
And with the continued move to lower-GWP refrigerants, Hitachi has developed its compressors for both A2L (R454C, R455A) and R290 refrigerants in addition to R448A/R449A.
