There are some cringey moments like the hologram scene and the group name (i won't spoil you anymore than that) but it can stand alone on it's own. The poor girl rich boy concept is still there but somehow they're more mature. Oto our heroine is such a mature eloquent lady, Haruto is an absolute sweetheart I'd adopt in a drop of a hat and Tenma is a compassionate man. I just love their dynamics.
