Wouldnt using the climb angle view make it a bit easier? It gives you a velocity vector so you can line it up so you touch at the very edge of the carrir deck.

@@martijn9568 Do the test ! Make same approaches on a runway, exact same speed, then don't raise flaps and see how long it takes ! The larger the flaps, the better it will work ! On Spits it's very noticeable !
