I live right down the road from where you’re at in the video, just subbed !
My last two Rams 2019 and 2021 (current) have painted bumpers and I get them wrapped in PPF with the coating and never have issues with rock chips (minus the ones I randomly get on the side of teh truck). Otherwise awesome truck it sounds great!
My 21 Cummins has twice the miles lol it’s alright I liked my 17 Cummins more. I’d like this 21 if I could figure out the popping under my feet. Took it to the Ram dealer I bought from in West Point MS and they said the power steering pump was popping because of the LIFT KIT (2.5” RC) leveling kit. crazy to me not coming from power steering at all. I should go ahead and delete mine to because dealers will do whatever they can not to honor warranty. Nice truck nice channel like your content
Appreciate the support. Yeah that’s my philosophy as well. I could care less about warranties because they’re so much pain to try to get anything done anyways. If something breaks, I’ll fix it myself. More expensive that way, but at least I know it gets done right and on a decent time frame. Hope you get the popping figured out man!!
Sounds like she lost a couple hundred pounds. Nice truck. Change the tranny fluid and filters every 60,000 miles. I've got 208,000 KMS on my 3500 with the 68RFE
You may want to get a transmission brace, it's less that $200.00 also bolt-on. It keeps the transmission from cracking, Respond if you would like the link.
I would do the heater grid, there is a bolt that comes loose and will drop in to the sixth cylinder and ruin your day. Or you could put on Gale Banks Big Ram as it moves the heater to the top of the ram.
The transmissions aren't weak in those trucks if you keep it stock and drive sensibly. If you modify your truck to make more power, it makes sense that you should upgrade other things on the vehicle. Not just the trans. But that's not the fault of the trans. The truck is well engineered. People just think they know more than the engineers who designed it.
Would love to delete mine but the warranty and laws have stopped me from doing so haha. Awesome truck!
The problem with PPF is it gets to a point where unless you own a Lambo or bugatti. 5K to protect a few rock chips makes no sense. it gets to the point of "dont drive it" if you need 5k+ in PPF
That popping noise isn’t the shocks. My 21’ with a Carli leveling kit Fox shocks and Thuren sway bar pops too. It’s annoying only when I really pay attention to it. Please post a video if you figure out what it is.
Mine went to weight loss camp at 2k miles. Zero issues besides the trans code around 10k. I’m 22k in now hasn’t done it since.
Appreciate the info! Will definitely keep everyone up to date if I solve the popping lol
I had that clunk I got rid of it with you shocks from Napa fleet
Unless you plan on hot rodding it, that trans 68rfe, should be more than stout enough. But to each his own. Painted bumpers are horrible. That's why I like chrome bumpers. They don't chip like the painted ones.
Check your sway bar links i think thats name of part mine came loose was making sams sound
When you say - delete, what exactly? Complete everything or just exhaust and tune. Which tune? I just ordered a '23 3500 because I couldn't find what i wanted used or new, trading my '16 eco-diesel, which runs great, but i 'need' bigger for towing.
Unfortunately I doubt there will be tunes for 23s for at least another year. From my understanding, they finally just cracked the codes to tune 22s only a month or so ago. Message me on Instagram for more details. Don’t want to leak too much info on here…. Ya never know who’s watching!
He don’t know, and why would you have 5 tubes at ready? Only explanation is someone took advantage of you & or your unfamiliar with the Cummins or diesels in general! Those are facts
@@Gilmore304 yo why you literally go and just write negative comments on multiple videos? If you don’t like my content, don’t watch it. Just seeing this now due to 2 other comments on another video 🤔
What hp tune setting are you running?
I have 5 tunes running on a SOTF knob.. 30hp at the lowest setting and 200hp on the highest.
Wait what are all the mods i have 1500 Laramie what can I do
Here’s everything done to the truck so far… ua-cam.com/video/GMO4TnfQTtA/v-deo.html
Are you planing to levell it?
@@JohnWargo93 thank you. Love the videos and truck is coming out sick. You give me inspiration lol. Its a drug allright. 😂😊😅
@@julioroman183 dude appreciate the support! Have a fun one coming out next week 🤫 stay tuned!
Your shocks are blown out the factory ones don’t last as long I only got 30,000 miles on them
Did you give it the "jenny craig" on your own? lol. Or was it a shop? I am not that far from you and want to get my big girl on a diet herself.
Deleted already ?
Ironically 1 year ago this month.. October 2021. 8k miles. Very happy with it.
@@JohnWargo93 I have the same truck and am about to hit 15k miles and thinking of doing the same … sounds great and seems to run amazing from the video love it
@@on4acres roughly $3500 for parts/labor. Add another $1000 for a FASS fuel system and $400 for an intake.
Good vid man. Truck looks great! That exhaust brake sound is killer
Appreciate it!!
