Born out of the thoughts, songs, and prayers the Gettys use to close each day with their own family, this new project features a mixture of lullabies and hymns to help redirect the mind and comfort the heart. Historically, the Church has known this practice as Evensong, and it is our hope that believers around the world might use these songs with their families and by themselves especially in this unique season of life.

I just can't stop dropping tears when I'm listening the song and watching the lyrics which really touching my heart. There is only one hope in this world, is our saviour Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Lion of Judah, who will renew all things, all creatrues, renew our souls and our life. Praise the Lord, even the world is broken and the dark is deepen.

It is a scriptural song of great power, thank you. Jesus says in the High Priestly prayer in Gethsemane seems to give us a hint, "This is eternal life, that they may know You, and through You, Me." I wonder if our first eternity will be spent in uttering praises declaring His worthiness. There's a lot of us.. one of the fine old hymns utters "even eternity's too short to extol thee." Or Newton's words, "when we've been there ten thousand years ... we've no less days to sing God's praise.." if those disciples were to start on the day of resurrection, they would still be singing even now. What a great and marvelous mystery and it all revolves around the necessity for us to Get Right with God.

All the versions of this song that I can find are very whispery and weak-styled. Does anyone sing this song as praise? With some gusto? It's written perfectly for some real pipes, but I can't find a good version. When we sing this in church, we belt it, we don't whisper.
