I have watched EVERY video on this topic! Since I didn’t have 2 matching needles as many instructors said I needed…I actually found the two different to be less confusing. I am trying to knit “knitted knockers” for charity. I am not giving up on my first as it looks really funny so far. Thanks so much for posting this. BTW I cast on EXACTLY like you and learned this technique over 50 years ago as a child.
If you are following a pattern in where the first 2 stitches are purl do you join in the round by using the patter 2 purls or you have to join by doing a knit?
I love this method of knitting but i am having an issue. When i get to the end of a needle the last stitch that i come to gets very loose. Its when i go to insert my needle into the stitch to knit it. not after i knit it. what am i doing wrong and why does it seem so hard to manage that last stitch especially?
do you have a video for casting on and knitting two at a time socks cuff down on two circulars? there dont seem to be very many using this particular method and i really need help

Here in Houston, I'm making a prayer shawl for a recent young widow.
Thank you for this tutorial! Next socks I make will be worked using this technique. :)
My pleasure

I love all your videos. Thanks for sharing your love of creativity. Does this method cause a ladder(I think that is what it is called)?
