Wish bus is a local radio station here in the Philippines. They're inviting guest artists in their famous live bus studio to promote their song by singing it live. And auto tune was never a thing here. Filipino artists will get bashed here by the local fans once they used auto tune. And bashing here was a bit of intense. They will judge you so hard. HAHA If you're not prepared then don't sing. 😂 Some or should I say most of the Filipinos are very perfectionist in terms of singing. With the technicalities, professional singers or not, most of us are very strict with the tempo, tone and etc. I don't know, maybe because of karaoke thing we (Filipino) all grew up? Hahaha But again, its just SB19's pure talent. Even the famous Dua Lipa, Anne Marie, Rick Price and canadian rock band Simple Plan and etc. was already invited on Wish bus. And they never use auto tune too.

But, lately realize to form a group because they have seen the talents of filipinos. They were pick as the strongest and were train under Korean training system for 2 years before they debut. The wish bus US offers a raw version of their voices as evidenced in their MAPA Wish USA version, you can really hear their tone.

SB19 doesn't use any sort of auto-tuning. I can't blame you, though, for assuming this. All I can say is you should watch as many of their live performances if you can, especially for any member whom you think has post-production on their voice. About SB19's origin, they were actually gathered by a Korean company (ShowBT Philippines) that wanted to tap into Filipino talent to produce professional entertainers. Auditions were held in 2016, and Pablo, Stell and Josh were part of those earliest trainees, with Justin and Ken being brought in later. These 5 guys debuted in 2018 as SB19 ("SB" originally referred to "ShowBT"). In 2023, the band eventually wanted to self-manage, and 1Z Entertainment is the company that they formed, with Pablo as the CEO, as you've mentioned, and rebranding "SB" to mean "Sound Break".

Although they are no longer managed by a Korean agency, I am grateful that they received the 4 years of training! I believe that is what sets them apart from the rest of the P-pop groups aside from their natural, raw individual talent, i,e, dancing , directing , composing, producing, etc. The discipline that the former Korean agency instilled in the boys is priceless. If we organize their vocal range from highest to lowest it will Stell, Pablo, Justin, Josh and Ken. Although Stell and Justin always do the melodies and Pablo, Joshua and Ken does rap often. All of them can carry a tone

They were given training and discipline the Korean way and there were initially a lot of them until the company recognized some members' potential for more. They were whittled down little by little, some who just didn't make the cut and some who just gave up (bec they were only being paid allowances for years). They even almost disbanded in the beginning bec their debut didn't go so well. And they even got bashed and disrespected in their very first media launch. PPop and BGs like theirs were still untested waters in the Philippines. 😊

Esbi itu manufactured at the first, kan di training dan didebutin sama label Korea-Filipin based. Cuma emang dari dulu yang nulis lirik lagu udah selalu Pablo, cuma dulu gak sebebas itu buat creativity mereka, lebih ke lirik aja tapi yang lainnya kayak musik dan MV itu masih dari labelnya banget. Baru pas pandemi mereka rilis lagu lagu dan MV dikasih lebih creativity freedom sama labelnya, but actually it's more of the company abandoned them :''), jadi kayak ya ada dilema untung gak untung lah ya, karena mereka tuh ada bilang di masa masa itu mereka sampe harus keluar budget dari kantong sendiri buat production Long short story just last year they finally finished their contract with that label, and ofcourse gak perpanjang, toh treatmentnya juga selama ini jelek. Cuma emang dari dulu yang nulis lirik lagu udah selalu Pablo, cuma dulu gak sebebas itu buat creativity mereka, lebih ke lirik aja tapi yang lainnya kayak musik dan MV itu masih dari labelnya banget. Baru pas pandemi mereka rilis lagu lagu dan MV dikasih lebih creativity freedom sama labelnya, but actually it's more of the company abandoned them :''), jadi kayak ya ada dilema untung gak untung lah ya, karena mereka tuh ada bilang di masa masa itu mereka sampe harus keluar budget dari kantong sendiri buat production
Long short story just last year they finally finished their contract with that label, and ofcourse gak perpanjang, toh treatmentnya juga selama ini jelek. Dan sekarang mereka udah bikin company sendiri namanya 1Z Entertainment, mereka juga ada bilang kalo in the future they plan to manage and debuting their own artists, but in the future, for now they're focusing on SB19
