You didn't mention at all the Trials has level advantage enabled, witch was only available in Iron Banner up until that point. I believe that it was more punishing then IB, though. Don't quote me on that.
For the record: As a Titan main...I have always hated Trials. It's nothing personal, but I remember trying to reach the lighthouse for months before I gave up because unless you had 2-3 Sunsingers on your team, you could not win usually: Radiance's rebirth ability (and that exotic body armor that blinded everyone around you on Rebirth) was just that over powered. I only got my Lighthouse trip once: I had 2 friends get on Sunsinger and carry my Titan butt through 8/9 matches to get me the clear and to get Right of Passage. Ironically, I got us to the Lighthouse on round 9 by being able to take out all 3 Sunsingers in Radiance in a winner-take-all final round after they had all reborn and wiped out my teammates. Luckily my Supression Grenade landed in the middle of all three and gave me time to take out 2 and raise an ally.
evanf1997 The two things that I loved about ToO in year 3 of D1 were that the armor and weapons looked really cool and Brother Vance transitioned to giving bounties, notably one that guaranteed a year 3 ToO armor piece and one that guaranteed a ToO weapon.

Every one of these videos give me such a feeling of nostalgia and memories that I get goosebumps every time I watch one of your videos. You are like a Byf but for Destiny's physical history, keep up the good work.
@Qwerty BastardI'm sure he was around for it. I think he was equating Adept weapons to being elemental primaries, which is where the mistake comes from. Adept weapons in Y1 looked exactly the same, but came with a random element. Meanwhile, Adept weapons in Y2 and Y3 looked different from their normal counterparts and came with a 3rd intrinsic perk. Y2 Adept weapons came with Last Resort intrinsically, while Y3 Adept weapons had Snapshot intrinsically.
Trials was just so good. You got loot where you couldnt get anywhere else. The armor, the weps, doctrine of passing and others. It was super fun, especially when you went flawless (7-0). Opening the chest and getting the unique weps and armors were dope. Hope they bring it back.
My friends and I literally tried Trials as soon as it came out expecting not to do good because we thought everyone was gonna be sweaty. But we were extremely wrong, went flawless first try within the first hour of its release. Greatest moment ever.
D1 Trials was possibly my favorite gaming experience ever. I had hundreds of flawless cards across my characters and met a lot of people I still play other games with today.
Another idea I thought of- splitting the map into segments. And having a system where if people camped in a segment for too long, that the area would become un-traversable. (This idea could be made better but it would stop people from staying in the best vantage points) idk just a thought I had there
make it Trials of the Past ( or some time-space themed name ) and have it set in the Infinite Forest. Platforms are rapidly made new and despawn and force players to move constantly. This would be fucking awesome
Great video! :) This makes me miss trials so much. Some ideas to add to the new trials: - Random rolled rewards (Weapons and Armour) - Flawless ornaments and gear (High stat rolls catered towards PVP) - Ritual/Pinnacle weapon earned through Trials. (Or a unique ornament earned through trials for the crucible pinnacle weapon.) - Map voting - Flawless aura remains active like nightfall. (Not a big concern but bugged me that is was only active over the weekend.) Thanks for posting this. Keep up the great work!
BlocBoy Yes, because he was relatively small and didn’t stream Year 2 content. He was brutally toxic back in the day and almost everyone hated him for his immature and bullshit personality. He changed A LOT and he does seem to have reflected on his past mistakes.
Aside from a a few issues which you corrected in the comments, this video is spot on. A history of Trials is something I didn't know I needed. Took me back to the good old days.
What everyone seems to forget is that the last word was basically bugged into being a better hawkmoon. The hipfire damage boost would randomly proc while ADSing as well
I remember I played trials like three times and had no idea what I was doing, but now I’m very involved in pvp and I really want trials to come back, to set the record straight
I discovered you recently, and boi. Let me tell you, you're my favorite Destiny 2 content creator, by far, I've been watching all of your vids, I can see you put ALOT of work in them, keep it up dude I'll be here for the explosion of your channel (because it's gonna to explode no doubt about that) :)
No game in existence and (probably) in the future will ever come close to the experience I had with TTK. Carrying randoms through Oryx and explaining them every single fucking step. Carrying 2 other not-so-good players solo to the Lighthouse so they can have their emblem. Seeing them be thankful was the most amazing feeling I ever had. Slowly starting to get to know all the Top Tier players on PS4, remembering their names, having huge face-offs and tilt each other to the end of the fucking world with tbagging. Having the most amazing weapon in hand (imo Last Word), mixed up with a 1k Yard Stare with Snapshot. I will NEVER find a game ever again that gives me the same feeling D1 did.
Great Video. I played trials a ton back in destiny 1. One thing you forgot about was the Scarab emblem from taken king and the cat emblem from rise of iron. It was a random drop after going flawless and then continuing to play on that card. It was a huge testament to skill when you'd see someone wearing those emblems.
At 13:20 I don’t know who this salami guy is, but that’s my video of hawkmoon. I had more one shot procs than anyone I know and it really is just s gimmicky thing (9-10 procs in pvp over a year of hardcore usage).
As someone who's a new light player, its interesting to see the history behind pvp and other destiny related events. Thanks for the great video! (Me and my girlfriend are addicted to D2, we just got to 950 and just finished the Forsaken campaign!)
Paul Brandofino As a destiny year one veteran I hope they will create events such as this that you will remember for a very long time. Destiny was so addicting it was referred to as “Crackstiny”, so I’m glad new light players are enjoying the experience Bungie has set up for you all!
@@loganhayden6135 definitely! Its been super fun! My girlfriend and I were looking for a new game to play together since we did everything in Warframe. So when D2 became FTP, we decided to try it, and have been enjoying it ever since! I'm currently trying to get good at crucible, and since we hit 950, i can't wait to start raiding!
Thanks for the spread of knowledge for those who weren't there for the event. That was one of the most emotional videos for me simply because of the way the community was together and all the memories made. Destiny 2 never stuck the same on a pvp stand point even from launch to this date and the game feels like its really gotten away from me. I grew up on this game and made many friends on the way I just hate to see the point that this game is at.
Trials would have to be a form of Eliminations with some spice thrown into it: like restricting exotics so only 1 exotic at all (armor or weapon not both) would definietly restrict some of the rediculous things in D2 PVP like Handheld supernova since many players would preffer running something like thorn for better neutral gameplay. Every player should get a revive token (like in raids) and that's it for rezes -> this would add some quick decision making to which teammate to revive if you have the oportunity to. A currated 3 map rotation for every weekend would be nice too so players know which 3 maps are available and can somewhat prepare for all 3 beforehand. On a Heavy round 2 heavy crates should spawn next to both teams spawns simply to mitigate the devestating effect of one team having total control over heavy and to try to even make heavy rounds balanced. I feel like radar is fine since removing it would shift players to using threat detector anyways which defeats the purpose of diversity. Furthermore you could create a rotation of allowed exotics -> Have a 4 week rotation of random exitcs for every class and weapon, so every weekend throughout a month trials would feel different guaranteed and due to the randomized nature it would be an ever changing meta. -> one week (assuming you use a hunter) Stompees, Thorn and Last Word might be available so many players will use those, next weekend though the only interesting exotics available are Knucklehead radar, Colony and Lumina. And just for the sake of supporting solo players add a solo and a 3v3 playlist.
I love everything about this except the curated set of exotics, Some people don't have all the exotics, so it could create a week where they aren't allowed to use any, and for a more casual player that might be enough restriction to stop them from playing the mode again.
Make one of the final rewards a 170 speed sparrow. -- Won't break Crucible -- Appeals to speedrunners -- Would always be of use to casual gameplay as well.
Please keep these kind of videos going. This one in particular is exactly what devs on Bungie's side need to see to better gauge what we want as a community. Your previous videos on us discovering secrets like Whisper and Outbreak are definitely the best of times, and of course Trials is what we want back the most. Perfect execution to encompass how we feel about the mode and different times throughout the game's history, well done. Hopefully it gains traction at Bungie's offices. R/Destinythegame loves your videos.
I only like elimination type game modes. But I LOVE the crimson days mechanic with the last alive having a buff, this could bring back the solo comeback moments that truly felt amazing.
Here is what I think they should do with trials (btw this is gonna be long, cause I have no life lol): Gamemode set up: Trials should be a gamemode were it locks your loadouts, and should have bans on any weapons/loadouts the community doesn't want in the loop. (So like montop, recluse on PC, could be banned off the playlist to make the experience a lot better). I think they should do that so the meta doesn't have to be remotely perfect but it can get rid of the things that take the fun/competitiveness out of it. Another thing they should do is make it so it's light level advantages at the cap of the max power -10 because of pinical cap. (this is so you don't get 1 shotted because someone is 999 light because of there artifacts). There should also be strict banning on cheaters and hackers. Idk if you can do this or not but maybe ban them on their console or PC so they can't just make a new account and play again. Rewards: There should be a lot of rewards for this mode that can last untill the next vender reset. So one weapon for each guntype (1 scout rifle, 1 sub, ECT.). The trials weapons should also be able to role a trials specific perk on the weapon that would make the guns cool and unique from all the other ones. For armor there should be a full armor set for each class. with the armor there should be trials specific armor mods that's are geared towards trials and PvP in general, kinda like the raid perks. Then there should be 3 emblems, one wear you get flawless, one if you go flawless 10 times, and one for 25 or 50 times, just so top tier trials players have emblems to farm for. There should also be a full set of trials ordaments for armor and one weapon ordiment for each weapon type. Cool idea to add: After you go flawless in trials, a new playlist opens up to you where only other flawless players can enter. This is where you could farm some cool emblems, ordiments, ships, sparrows, and finishers for PvE). If you win 5 games in a row you get an exclusive item (not a weapon or armor peice) just to give something to the top players. I think this would be an awesome gamemode to play if it has all of this and bungie could pull it off right. After writing all of that, I think I should just get a job there instead of commenting on a video lol. Thanks for reading have a great day ;)
I never played Destiny 1 unfortunately but with Destiny 2 (Day 1 boy) I’ve found myself a great amount of friends through Versus (the streamer) and man I wish I could have experienced these things that D1 players look back so fondly of.
Man, this vid was a roller coaster of emotion. So many feels.... I remember what made me take my first destiny break, HoW. No raid, PoE was meh (imo) and getting wall banged by final round snipers so much you'd think I was playing trials of Effrideet's glory hole instead of ToO.
To take this long walk down memory lane. I remeber getting off work and taking a nap before trials of osiris started, ( I worked nights). Text my buddy's to call me to make sure I woke up, get on destiny and throw down HARD!. This was one of my favorite times as a destiny player. They nerfed Thorn, so we decided to go plan c exotic and just murder everyone with that quick charge out of holster shot lmao. I miss trials of osiris so much and have been waiting for it to come back. Bungie, please do this right.
They did in year 1 but sucked we want trials yes but osiris not t nine... to be honest I'm still disappointed w d2 year 1 at least when prestige came out...
Idea I had for trials that probably wont happen, bring back trials of osiris and trials of the nine, and make trials of the nine easier but also accessable to solo players. Such as unlimited losses and rewards on 3, 5 and 7 wins. Flawless could maybe have two losses instead of one. Then keep Trials of osiris as the hardcore option with no matchmaking. As for loot, osiris would need new stuff but bungie could reuse all of the stuff for the nine just with random rolls. Special curated rolls/high tier masterworked armor (maybe ascendant shards?) can be rewards for both as flawless rewards but definitely make trials of osiris more rewarding such as an item after every win or every other win. And in an ideal world there would be cosmetics to chase for like ships, ghost shells, emotes, and sparrows.
@@daafrothoafro8338 I agree it is, but it wasn't. d2s pvp was so boring at the beginning... I don't know why Bungie thought 4v4 was a better idea and let it take over all pvp mode... and also, long ttk led to MIDA teamshot and a couple of auto rifles were only ways to kill efficiently in ToN
D2 may have been inferior at launch, but it's an infinitely better game now. Everything about this game, besides maybe high level Comp is more fun than D1 ever was. Gotta take those nostalgia goggles off.
Okay to remake trials (imo) -3v3 elimination (mode) -Spawn in with special all rounds -First to 4-5 rounds win takes game -(3:00 minute rounds) -Add bounties you pick up to receive rewards: example win 3 games for armour (non flawless gear) 5 for weapon (random rolled) -remove tokens -7 wins in a row for a one time trip to lighthouse after FLAWLESS -random map rotations weekly (Please add any thoughts)
Shadow But it would make it possible for more people to go flawless. You wouldn’t run into trials sherpas unless you were a trials sherpa. And for people who are bad at pvp it gives them a chance to get great weapons.
Trials of Darkness, imagine being introduced to a new entity via trials format. Darkness armor and weapons could be earned, a new vendor from darkness could jump start the new era of the story.
I’m a PC exclusive player so I missed out on D1... I always wanted to check the game out so I got on D2 when it launched... but the game felt very shallow year 1 and I stopped. I came back for Shadowkeep after hearing good buzz and I have been HOOKED. I heard about these Trials possibly coming back but had no clue what the big deal was. This video was VERY well done, thank you! It makes me want to get better and keep grinding that much more so I can be as ready as I can when/if Trials come back.
I did spent every weekend on trials of osiris, but my team “ yes and me “ weren’t that good with pvp.. so, yeah we tried going to the lighthouse but I never did:(
I remember my first time playing Trials I played with two of my friends who had already tried, but lost once before picking me up, without resetting their cards, because they didn't know better at the time. We went the full 9-0 because we also didn't know about boons, & they didn't get to go because they didn't reset and we didn't find out why till later. Lol
Brother Vance being in destiny 2 provides Bungie such a good reason to bring it back, 3v3 elimination with stakes. I only hope that if they do bring it back, the lighthouse doesn't get reused and that they create emblems and armor that are as coveted as their predecessors. (maybe pvp specific mods)
I remember playing D1 Y1 Trials and Y2 Trials and whenever I heard the Hammer Titan go off during Y2 I just about had a heart attack knowing we could probably be wiped xD
I was fortunate enough to have friends from COD and Halo days that were absolute monsters at PvP, our friend circle was only like 12 people so we always had god squads for Raids, Nightfall, and Trials
Came back from 0-4 to win on my first Trials run on release day in the game to go to the Lighthouse. Maybe my favorite Destiny moment. Love your videos even though I’ve moved on from Destiny since Forsaken.
I remember when I used to stack solar burn with Thorn's poison. Good times. You know what wasn't fun tho? 1000 Yard Stare. Whoever used that should die XD
Flawless cards in the taken king still rewarded an "adept" weapon of sorts. Weapon rewards from the lighthouse chests would have a bonus perk. Which, while never overpowering, is a bonus that is quite meaningful. I seem to recall that for year 2 that meant all lighthouse acquired weapons had snapshot on top of the other perks. Which is quite a big thing. I might be wrong on which perk it was though, been a while.
Love your videos dude! I wasn’t here in the D1 days so I’m not really fussed about trials being missing but this video got me really anticipating its return. Also it might be an unpopular opinion but I loved that 4v4 countdown mode.
The current sandbox is actually in a very good place, the only issues still remaining being the infrequency of certain weapon archetypes(Sidearms mainly) in the PvP space. Shotguns are running rampant, but that was never news to anyone, snipers on PC are the strongest weapon you can wield, and primaries are out of the question for most engagements unless you ran out of special ammo somehow.
Well done on this video. I remember trials fondly. I feel that something that broke it, and you sort of hit on this... Is that streamers doing carries changed the pool of players from "everyone" who liked to pvp and having a randomized mix of talent with the better ones making it... It became a sweat fest where it became eternally camped by content creators and some who were not creators but took advantage of the moment to created paid carry services. Like I said you touched on this, but I feel like this is one of the most devasting impacts on trials. Rewards come and go. And honestly some of the gear now looks terrible and I have zero desire to buy it or work hard to get it. House of wolves and the Crota raid hear and Taken King were epic. But they're always going to be the issue where there's a small drought over guessing incorrectly about rewards... But when the rewards fall and they miss....AND the entire experience is super gruelling. It's a lose, lose.
the grounded meta was actually better to anticipate what you were up against, this made it more fun to create strategies with your team and necessary to check the enemy loadouts before and during the match to see what primary they ran.
Those god damn days, maybe thats why i keep Destiny as my favorite game of all time, i just played D1 and i love to watch D2 gameplay (from the normal campaign to literally the newest expansión) and i haven't played it yet because my laptop doesn't run it and i don't own an Xbox one or ps4, but i really love this content for some reason, i hope trials gets topped off with some super insane activity, unfortunately expecting something so good is bad for both sides as you said in the video, but lets just be patient and see what comes in the future uwu
This was one of the best videos I have seen in a while.Brought me back a bit, to a better time with everything happened.Thank you for this and honestly ADD Adept weapons to trails rn
As a Destiny PvP player who only occasionally did a raid, I quit destiny when they stopped Trails and so did most of my friends. That killed the game for me. My favorite streamers (like Krafty) also stopped playing along the way. I’m heavy into Apex now but inserting Trials would be a good move to get some people back.
It’s important to get everything as correct as possible for these types of videos and sometimes things get cut from the script and other times I miss some details, so I am making a list of things I missed/got wrong:
- Adept weapons in Y2/3 had an extra roll, but no burn (I always refer to adept as elemental, my bad)
- You can slightly tell when the enemy has super if there level icon is yellow, but in most cases it’s still hard to tell + self res you never know.
-Trials swapped from Connection based MM to SBMM and that didn’t go over so well with people
- In Rise of Iron, you did spawn with special for the first round, but then after that round people swapped to side arms/ Icebreaker
- only thing really added was the scarab emblem since it was the reward for 9-0 without any consumables

There were adept weapons in years 2 and 3 of D1. They just weren't elemental. Rather, they had an altered appearance
yea like doctrine of passing (adept) was one of the strongest weapons for pvp you could get in year 2
@Qwerty BastardI'm sure he was around for it.
The extra perk was last resort. The guns looked better as well. Also stickie grenades where only a thing after the likes of fireball was nerfed
@@Mrutubeomz the extra perk was different based on the season, or whatever they called it back then. Snapshot Sights was the Adept perk at one point.
I will never forget when I faced up against gernader jake on my final game before mercury and we got clapped
He was my first game in trials of the nine
I faced Krafty every weekend for trials of the nine on PC, we beat him like 50 50
Trials was just so good. You got loot where you couldnt get anywhere else. The armor, the weps, doctrine of passing and others. It was super fun, especially when you went flawless (7-0). Opening the chest and getting the unique weps and armors were dope. Hope they bring it back.
The perfect thing to have on while playing destiny recovering from my surgery. Thank you for the gift of these videos!👊
Ah yes, exotics feeling overpowered
I have lost that feeling
Yin Yang **laughs in any exotic titan armorpiece**
I miss this mode so much, I remember when I first got carried to lighthouse by a streamer, it was the only time I got there, those were the days man
My friends and I literally tried Trials as soon as it came out expecting not to do good because we thought everyone was gonna be sweaty. But we were extremely wrong, went flawless first try within the first hour of its release. Greatest moment ever.
'DO I FEEL DATED SAYING THE META WAS SUROS REGIME' ah yea I wish it was still a thing of the past
Gotta love that Suros/Felwinter's meta that's back again 😂
Yea thorn
Some ideas to add to the new trials:
- Random rolled rewards (Weapons and Armour)
- Flawless ornaments and gear (High stat rolls catered towards PVP)
- Ritual/Pinnacle weapon earned through Trials. (Or a unique ornament earned through trials for the crucible pinnacle weapon.)
- Map voting
- Flawless aura remains active like nightfall. (Not a big concern but bugged me that is was only active over the weekend.)
Thanks for posting this. Keep up the great work!
People that didn’t play d1: “TfUe PlAyEd DeStInY?”
I played d1 but didnt know tfue played d1
BlocBoy
Yes, because he was relatively small and didn’t stream Year 2 content.
Self-res warlock where the easiest snipes ever.
just the idea of it lol always gotta be ready for something
What everyone seems to forget is that the last word was basically bugged into being a better hawkmoon. The hipfire damage boost would randomly proc while ADSing as well
Been waiting for this! Keep it up Evan 👏🏻
The Trials is something I've looked into for ages, it's beautiful to have people working together even if you fail, you can always learn
3:06 So we're back to square one then
It's still the meta
I remember I played trials like three times and had no idea what I was doing, but now I’m very involved in pvp and I really want trials to come back, to set the record straight
Actually the update said “Trials of The NINE” (Nine in italics) is on indefinite hiatus
I discovered you recently, and boi.
Let me tell you, you're my favorite Destiny 2 content creator, by far, I've been watching all of your vids, I can see you put ALOT of work in them, keep it up dude I'll be here for the explosion of your channel (because it's gonna to explode no doubt about that) :)
if i could timetravel once i would choose the time when taken king released

Why do you have to make me fucking cry?
Don’t we all?
Great Video. I played trials a ton back in destiny 1. One thing you forgot about was the Scarab emblem from taken king and the cat emblem from rise of iron. It was a random drop after going flawless and then continuing to play on that card. It was a huge testament to skill when you'd see someone wearing those emblems.
At 13:20
I don’t know who this salami guy is, but that’s my video of hawkmoon. I had more one shot procs than anyone I know and it really is just s gimmicky thing (9-10 procs in pvp over a year of hardcore usage).
Ayye dad youre famous now xD no link in the description tho @evanf1997
"Future proof it, Trials might be back by time you watch it" - Cries in trials "indefinitely on hiatus"

Trials would have to be a form of Eliminations with some spice thrown into it:
like restricting exotics so only 1 exotic at all (armor or weapon not both) would definietly restrict some of the rediculous things in D2 PVP like Handheld supernova since many players would preffer running something like thorn for better neutral gameplay.
You nailed this man. Trials was so hard but I had an amazing time during D1. I think we are very close to seeing it come back.
Dude, I fricking LOVE your channel
I just got into D2 and thank you for doing these. There is so much it hard to wrap my head around.
Make one of the final rewards a 170 speed sparrow.
-- Won't break Crucible
-- Appeals to speedrunners
-- Would always be of use to casual gameplay as well.
“My favorite class in the game, Kevin” -Deej 2015
I only like elimination type game modes. But I LOVE the crimson days mechanic with the last alive having a buff, this could bring back the solo comeback moments that truly felt amazing.
Here is what I think they should do with trials (btw this is gonna be long, cause I have no life lol):
Gamemode set up:
Trials should be a gamemode were it locks your loadouts, and should have bans on any weapons/loadouts the community doesn't want in the loop.
Rewards:
There should be a lot of rewards for this mode that can last untill the next vender reset.
Cool idea to add:
After you go flawless in trials, a new playlist opens up to you where only other flawless players can enter.
Thanks for reading have a great day ;)
Swag Money 1738 I like this a lot, different levels to the trials experience and yes IP bans perks ban accounts, unless someone gets a new IP
evanf1997 which makes sense, they should do that then
I never played Destiny 1 unfortunately but with Destiny 2 (Day 1 boy) I’ve found myself a great amount of friends through Versus (the streamer) and man I wish I could have experienced these things that D1 players look back so fondly of.
"The event that changed destiny forever"
Woo laser tag
Dude these videos u r doing r ABSOLUTELY LIT AF
When i heard TTK theme song play i started crying
The best part about Trials of the Nine was that the armor looked sick.
Ikr and there back! So happy i have 3/5 hunter pieces
I could dig it.
I don’t think. That’s a good idea
Listening on my headphones, had my back to the screen, and the Taken King theme kicked on.
Chills.
"watered down version of what came before it" yup that's Destiny 2 for ya
Er Mutanda not anymore really but that was so true for d2s launch
Shadow6 7 agreed
Destiny 2 is better my guy
@@daafrothoafro8338 I agree it is, but it wasn't. d2s pvp was so boring at the beginning... I don't know why Bungie thought 4v4 was a better idea and let it take over all pvp mode... and also, long ttk led to MIDA teamshot and a couple of auto rifles were only ways to kill efficiently in ToN
D2 may have been inferior at launch, but it's an infinitely better game now. Everything about this game, besides maybe high level Comp is more fun than D1 ever was. Gotta take those nostalgia goggles off.
Okay to remake trials (imo)
-3v3 elimination (mode)
-Spawn in with special all rounds
-First to 4-5 rounds win takes game
-(3:00 minute rounds)
-Add bounties you pick up to receive rewards: example win 3 games for armour (non flawless gear) 5 for weapon (random rolled)
-remove tokens
-7 wins in a row for a one time trip to lighthouse after FLAWLESS
-random map rotations weekly
(Please add any thoughts)
To fix trials I would make it so that no artifact mods could be used, limit it to one exotic overall and make it have skill based match making.
Shadow But it would make it possible for more people to go flawless. You wouldn’t run into trials sherpas unless you were a trials sherpa. And for people who are bad at pvp it gives them a chance to get great weapons.
Evanf I love the love and understanding you are showing to both Bungie and the fanbase, you're great
Trials of Darkness, imagine being introduced to a new entity via trials format. Darkness armor and weapons could be earned, a new vendor from darkness could jump start the new era of the story.
Türkşad Ergün nope you get to do the exact same thing
I mean trials of the nine
Lol
That's sad.😔
Remember doing carries to the lighthouse every weekend. Good times. Played titan bubble, when no one played it.
9:55 fact check: tfue wasnt a pvp player so he never really did trials, he only went for raid achievments and was the first to one man oryx
He did the 56 kill game in Trials
Ye no, thegrreatgatsby was the first to solo oryx.
EE5Y he definitely was not the best, he was alright. if you watched the 56 kill game, he missed countless shots and could only hit res snipes
WhyEddy while yes I agree mostly, Tfue did do a lot of trials too though and was found on UA-cam originally because of that
@@evanf1997 hmm really? cuz i only ever heard about him in ttk. regardless i dont really think trials kickstarted his career
I remember playing D1 Y1 Trials and Y2 Trials and whenever I heard the Hammer Titan go off during Y2 I just about had a heart attack knowing we could probably be wiped xD
i'm binging all of these types of destiny videos you've uploaded... they're just amazingly well done.
Jokes on you, Suros is back in the meta
I was fortunate enough to have friends from COD and Halo days that were absolute monsters at PvP, our friend circle was only like 12 people so we always had god squads for Raids, Nightfall, and Trials
Honestly trials of Osiris in Destiny 2 has been worse than trials of the nine
ive enjoyed it alot more than trials of the nine
Came back from 0-4 to win on my first Trials run on release day in the game to go to the Lighthouse. Maybe my favorite Destiny moment. Love your videos even though I’ve moved on from Destiny since Forsaken.
damn i miss the good old D1 days
Man I keep tearing up at the end of your videos! And not only because of the Journey soundtrack!
Wow. I'm earlier than a White Family to an Airport.
Heh
Heh heh
Perfect comment
In Germany we say "Alman"
I remember when I used to stack solar burn with Thorn's poison. Good times.
You know what wasn't fun tho? 1000 Yard Stare. Whoever used that should die XD
Man these memories are too much for me.
Almost like PTSD at this point.
Dequarius Walker *self res, res snipe, “he’s ab-so”, “raffle for a 9-0” has entered the chat*
I asked for a trials documentary and behold someone answered my prayers. Thank you so much great video.
Nothing can top that intro cutscene into the lighthouse.
These moments of Destiny series is amazing and it came out of nowhere
Trials of Osiris and later Nine taught me one important lesson I still carry to this day, Futility in trying unless your willing to do meta.
This was one of the best videos I have seen in a while.Brought me back a bit, to a better time with everything happened.Thank you for this and honestly ADD Adept weapons to trails rn
That lighthouse cutscene hit way harder than I thought it would.
Year 1 PvP was by far my favorite, Trials made it way better. God I miss it so much
As a Destiny PvP player who only occasionally did a raid, I quit destiny when they stopped Trails and so did most of my friends. That killed the game for me. My favorite streamers (like Krafty) also stopped playing along the way. I’m heavy into Apex now but inserting Trials would be a good move to get some people back.
I can't wait for him to tell about Vault of Glass. First time when i played it and the vault open. I knew it was something that would be wholly unique
