It's definitely reproducible, he's often running a very simple pedal board. The main thing that accomplishes the sound is running the guitar through an old 4-track mixer. I love his sound but there isn't some otherworldly 'organic' source - just some really smart equipment choices! :)

His style was reminiscent of 70s and 80s but it's changed and has a very unique sound now. While I admittedly like the old sound, the new sound is something I'm adapting to, but I do admire the band trying something different.
