How do you avoid using the word, “I” so much when writing in the first person?? My sentence structure seems to lead to - I did this, I did that, etc. Thanks, Carolyn.
Good question, Carol! See where you can substitute with "my", talk about your impressions ("impressed me" "surprised me", etc.) and read other memoirs to see how those authors write their actions without using "I" so much.
