I live in Quebec the french part of canada in a very small farming sector, but I am fortunate enough to have a mall an hour drive away from my home - the mall has a manga / nerd store called Imaginaire which is a local enterprise that carries all types of nerdy things like cards, funkos etc. but I go there exclusively for their manga and figure selection, most of the manga they carry is in french expect for their tiny one shelf worth of manga in english but I am lucky enough to be bilingual so I can still read the french manga although I'd prefer to read it in english. other than that the biggest downside is the overpricing of manga & figures there, manga usually goes for 16 - 20 cad $ ( 11.99 $ - 14.99 $ usd ) and english manga can go anywhere from 20 - 40 cad $ ( 14.99 $ - 29.99 $ usd ) unfortunately that's just kind of what I have to put up with if I want manga in my location and buying manga online can be more expensive because of the shipping
Houston burley has any anime stores. Only have Half Price Books close by, gotta drive half an hour for the only Kinokuniya in Katy. Hopefully they open a BOOK OFF in Houston.
I dont have any near me because I live in this island called Puerto Rico, and its kinda eh there when it comes to book stores. However, I always love going to Barnes and Noble whenever I have the chance. There’s always this amazing feeling when I buy my manga and LNs there, and seeing the variety is amazing and it always has this nostalgic feel to it idk why lol. Also, I know I’ve said this before, but my god ur videos are awesome. They’re so chill, and ur honestly very underrated. Ill be staying here for a long time :))
Have you been to San Diego's book off?? That's my local bookoff. I think it's the best selection and I love the Gardena one. Haven't been to little Tokyo one yet! :)
@@Ararawgi Yes, my local Barnes and Noble used to be okay but now they are expanding their manga/light novel offerings. As for my local comic book shops, books tend to be close to retail while the figures will be overpriced. On the other hand, shops dedicated to anime and manga try to sell their items close to retail.
