    Great video as always. This is an advanced tune no doubt. There is an earlier version Horace did with Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers, it’s at a slower tempo.

    The bridge to this has driven me crazy for about 50 years. It seems so out of place… maybe even corny sounding in spite of the cool changes.
    I’m bothered in much the same way by that strange part in Killer Joe which seems out of place.
    But… I love them both.
