the day this aired i was in SHAMBLES loooollll. for one, henry had been sidelined the whole season so being able to watch him in action was great and then having him become the author was even better (even if he did snap the pen almost instantly lol). but then to top it off with EMMA of all people becoming the dark one after a whole season of trying to avoid her becoming dark it was literally jaw-dropping. waiting all those months for s5 was NOT easy like my friends who i had convinced to watch and my stepdad who i would watch it with we were so anxious waiting. official s5 announcement and s5 trailer drop were truly GREAT days lol 14 year old me was so hyped 😭
That ending scene gives me chills everytime!! Also love the reveal of the sorcerer we've heard so much about being Merlin! Also also you pointing out the song playing in grannies omg, yet another lost reference!! I watched ouat before lost so I'm catching all the references through your reactions.
The donkey from Shrek?? 😂 I love the last few minutes of this episode. What a way to actualize the darkness story for Emma. I had been lackluster about this season when I first saw it, but that ending got me pumped all over again.
*snort* "Of course it's going after you." Well damn, Logan. I remember holding my breath watching live when Regina jumped in front of the sword because it was the season finale and I was so worried that they were actually killing her off.
Not what I would call suicide so much as sacrifice. But yeah Isaacs up in here lying about Neals heroic death and making Rumple complicit when he infact fought to save Neal. The saddest part for me about how they rewrote Rumples story here is that his biggest wish wasn't really a rewrite so much as a reality he just couldn't see. Yes, he absolutely failed Bealfire in the past, but in the end he sacrificed himself to save him not once, but twice and Bealfire followed his example and died sacrificing himself to save all the people he loved. That's not failing your son at all. That and he tried to kill Henry and I don't think he would have liked that were he equiped with his full knowledge and memory. He was really growing to place some of the same importance on Henry as he placed on Neal. I suspect he intended Henry to somehow be with him in the rewrite.
It's very great that Isaac is not the author anymore, so he can't destroy anyone's stores ever again. And it's also not fair that Isaac survived and Cruella de vil doesn't survive at all.
I mean... She was a psychopath who enjoyed killing and it's possible that Henry undid ALL of Isaacs work including the line stopping her from killing...
I badly need this show to explain why Rumple's heart went so white. We've never seen a heart do that and I can't remember if they ever explain. I need to know though.
the sad thing is that you are pretty close about lily's father: he is not donkey, but a stupid choice as it would be ps: sherk is a dreamworld product, not Disney
I mean this isn't straight Disney either. And until the last season wasn't even heavily Disney. It mixed Disney with original fairy tales and other stories. They wouldn't be able to do Shrek though because, copyright.
that was such an insane cliffhanger to be left with for months when it aired
“Is it the donkey from Shrek?” 😂😂😂
That poor dwarf that got killed by Snow 😢 I imagine he’s always going to feel weird around her after that

Lmao Logan did the Rumple laugh when he saw ‘Emma Swan’
This is the start of my FAVORITE arc in this series

It's all about how it ends. The season 4 finale was ok but that final scene totally left us wanting more. Imagine having to wait months!
best finale of season EVER
“ We. Are. VENOM.” 😂
Forgive me I just finished Spider-Man 2.

Waiting all the weeknd for this reaction 🤩
I like how Isaac gonna lie and say Baelfire died of Rumplestiltskin's reputation when really it was suicide

Time for the Dark Swan
Alt. Hook is my favorite Hook.
Yeah he's kind of funny and sweet and heroic in a terrified Monk like way.
