Do you know the difference between a elk and a moose ?
You do realize the first video you showed was an elk right?
@@crackerjack9371 bullshit!!
@@crackerjack9371 In what universe?
@@crackerjack9371 no
@@crackerjack9371 lol No they are not!!!!!
@@crackerjack9371 Lmao not even close to the same. That's like the difference between a crocodile and an alligator.
I like how the description is like "We didn't even know that a moose made that noise!" - Probably because it is not a moose. It's an elk.
Strange I would have bet it was a deer 😀
Moose, elk, mule deer and white tail are all members of the deer family, but that first clip was definitely an elk. Knowing the difference is a Big F**king Deal when you're big game hunting. @@PMan-fn7vc
Elk is a kind of deer. So are moose actually.
It's okay. I don't know the difference
In some European countries elk are known as moose as well. In the US elk are the ones who make the bugling whistling noise, moose are the big ones with the paddle antlers. It's just different common names for them depending on where you live.
In North America we distinguish between the moose and elk. That first creature is what we call an elk.
It's the opposite in Europe. What we call moose they call elk. What we call elk over there would be closer to their red stag.
Nope first one is elknin europe as well
I am from Europe and that is an elk
My statement is still true.
Uh...North America is struggling to distinguish between a boy and a girl and which bathroom they should use. Identifying Cervids is clearly gonna be a bridge too far.
That white or albino moose was gorgeous!
Yeah, incredible
Look good hanging on my wall 🧱
@@davekiddie4467so would you
@@user-cq8fk8ej4h thx 💋
@@davekiddie4467You sick
the moose family playing in the sprinklers was awesome
güt times with ´FränZ v ?v
Yeah just let them enjoy the shower ans give them some peace and fun.
Love the moose obeying traffic’s protocol, and using the crosswalk.
We have foxes where I used to live that only used crosswalks in town
That moose is smarter than most people around here.
He could've waited. Didn't have to drive pass babies.
That moose could have just allowed him to pass .
@@CryMeARiver63 I assume bc his babies was bear he thought the truck was trying to harm them, these are wild animals they're not thinking let me let him pass lol
No I think they would've kept going forever
@@CryMeARiver63 Are you 8 or something? Use your brain
Ppl got things to doooo
The moose slapping the lawnmower tickled me
Yeah so much for mowing the lawn
Reminds me of a cat playing with one of those vacuum things
The lawnmower is... dead. 😔
And it's an albino moose too that's amazing
I wonder if warranty covers that😂
Mid-80s, Northwest trek, Washington State - saw full grown, male black moose @ 10-feet distance. ENORMOUS and NOT to be messed with.
Out of all the deer family, the MOOSE is the one that seems to always be on bath salts.
Moose love to lick salt. Not sure why, they just like it and will lick either salt rocks or anything that may have salt on it.
@@yanderefangirl8317 “bath salts” is a street name for an illegal hallucinogenic drug. It turns people extremely violent. It went over your head.
@@yanderefangirl8317 I think his comment went right over your head miss.
They have poor eyesight.
I mean, moose on truck salts has got to be much, much worse. Seriously. I mean, look at what it does to vehicles. They look like zombie deer when the salt is done with them. Lol😂
The first moose sounded and looked a hell of a lot like an elk
It was
@@usbornebykendra971 yeah that was my point, sarcasm
@@justme-cs5vg sorry I thought it was but just confirming
@@usbornebykendra971 no worries you were right
It was a Elk
I think showing that elk first was to make people comment to correct. Good way to generate activity.
I STAND WITH RUSSIA!
SUCK IT!
I agree with previous comments. First one was clearly an elk. That second guy should’ve been more patient in passing that moose with its two little ones. I’ve had a similar experience, but gave them space and a little bit of time and they went on their way with no problem. That guy is a total jerk, PERIOD.
Yeah. He acted like the moose was a pest in it's OWN home. He was just arrogant as all hell.🙄🤦
Unless he was a fire response guy.
Agree....to bad the mouse did not mess up that truck. Lol
@@georgeyoung7523 oh the drivers side headlights / front quarter panel must be dented.
Also, that was a mom moose, not a "dad" moose as described... The males don't hang around and care for babies! Ugh
"Moose video"... immediately shows an elk.
That fight with Santa was personal 😅 moose was like can’t believe you picked those little reindeers over me😅
I'm pretty sure that the perfect pedestrian moose is one of Anchorage Alaska's moose population.
He waited for the "walk" sign, didn't he?
@@broadcasttttable smart moose
It did look like Dimond and Victor!
I've seen deer do the same thing in Camrose Alberta. They are smart enough to figure out how to coexist in town. It's safer for them and their babies from predators like bears and wolves.
1:47 made me laugh so much. Imagine looking out of your window to find moose fighting on your lawn and slamming into your car.
yeh when a moose wrecks your car, you get to be in a Farmers Insurance ad about now we've seen everything.
I wish I could see the whole video 😅
You think it's funny to have a Moose wreck your car? k😑
@@bellaapple2166 no I think it’s funny to watch it wreck someone else’s car. I used punctuation to separate the two thoughts but it must not have translated well for you.
@@awesomebeast7509 Nice! May others enjoy it just as much when something unfortunate happens to you. Hope that translated well to you.
I'm two videos in, and they've both had incorrect descriptions. First is an elk; second is moose mama, not dad.
Absolutely!!!
never assume genders like that.
Here in Sun Valley, Idaho, a couple of weeks ago a woman stepped out to her backyard to quiet her barking dog. Guess what he was barking at? The moose took one look at her, charged, and sent her to the hospital with a concussion, bruises, and a broken rib. These "twig eaters" are huge and a large ball of muscle. Bet no one asks these vegetarians, "where do you get your protein?"...lol.
Last year near priest river I saw a huge mother with twin calves. they were on the opposite sides of the road, had to wait until the mother joined before I could continue on my way.
Uh actually deer & I assume others in the same family like a moose will occasionally eat baby birds they find on the ground.
No seriously I didn't quite believe it until I saw the videos on UA-cam.
It's actually kind of scary.
They do have the digestive capacity (mostly by harbouring microbes) to process all that vegetation.
Of course, because you are a thoughtful and respectful of wildlife and have no wish to have your truck beaten up by a moose. Unlike that guy in the video. @@grbenway
They are evolved to live on vegetation, humans are not. Vegetarians and Vegans have mental problems due to lack of Vitamin B-12, even when they supplement. Your brain needs meat. Vegetarians and vegans smell bad and also have a lot of butt problems.
The moose trashing the Santa was actually saying, "you always use reindeer to pull your sleigh but you NEVER ask us!".
Wow they get pretty big don't they? 😮
the largest in the deer family. Can get up to 10 ft tall
The first video is a bull elk, not a moose. He was bugling trying to get a girl friend.
"Good Job" on the rescue dude!! 👍👍👍
"rescue" I'm not sorry to say that wild animals don't need saving unless it's human related like the moose in the stream didn't need saving it's a moose one of the only semi aquatic animals out there
Das Elchkalb brauchte seine Mutter und wird inzwischen lange verhungert sein
Moose are the most terrifying and most interesting animals at the same time. 😎🤘🇨🇦🤘
As an Alaskan agreed my Canadian friend.
Hope your doing well in these times.
I agree
Imagine waking up to see a bull moose licking at the side of your truck like a salt lick.
hey the perfect way to get rid of road salt, moose drive-through
Женщина поливает лося: какая прелесть
За пределами Евразийского континента их называют лосями. Люди в США будут злиться на вас, если вы назовете (moose) лося лосем!
Outside the Eurasian continent they are called moose. People in the U.S. will get all over you if you call a moose an elk!
@@peatmoss4415Like Putin.
Elk and Moose are so beautiful and majestic ❤
Moose crossing the street to the convenience store to get a chicken burrito for his new squeeze.
i love how a simple ball just represents fun with almost any animal.
Love the moose taking out the robot lawnmower.
If you’re gonna do a moose compilation, you should probably have it start with an actual moose
2:58 done broke the lawnmower 😂😭
Expensive one in that
A Moose that doesn’t J-walk and uses the crosswalk and waits till it’s safe to cross.. we need more humans to do that lol 😁😉
Who cares if it was an elk. Just enjoy the darn video 😂
I wonder how long it took for that woman to grow such a big moose and how often does she have to water it?😊
😂😂😂😂😂
I gave up on growing Moose. Never could get them to flower.
@@TheFredmac and their branches keep falling off!
I never realized elk got that big, never seen one in the wild, beautiful.
That's because those are moose not elk.
@@DelighlahRoseBauerthat first one was not a moose that was a big ass elk
We stayed in the same campground a few years in a row. There was a female who would being her calves to the pond while I was sitting there, right next to me. The last year she had twins. When you actually are In nature, encounters are common with all kinds of animals. And the woman said elk in the first clip, about the first word in this vid.
did the title to the video say elk....no it said moose.....lol
"Pointless to drive through here with no food. But, you are so handsome. Hi. Yeah. You smell... Ahhh! Go, go!" Is all she said. Where did you hear "elk"?
Lmao 😂 the moose crossing the street haha all the drivers took off fast
First video is an elk...the town I live in is named after elk, and there is an elk statue in the middle of town. If I wasn't sure by its look (which I was) the call it made would've told me right away, as it is very distinctive.
The moose at the airport couldn't find it's Uber, so it decided to walk home.
so beautiful, majestic, strong, long limbs
Fantastic video, loved the airport inspector. They really are a social species, probably make a lawnmower.
Santa getting feedback for his discriminating hiring policy 🦌
yeah, only hiring reindeer.
These creatures are so beautiful oh my gosh beautiful
The videos that mention a moose when it's really an elk, and me laughing at myself for knowing the difference 😆 🤣 😂 ☠️
THOSE VIDEO'S WERE AWESOME!!!
THANKS FOR SHARING!!👍
Beautiful animals
the white one is so majestic and beautiful
Love the moose family in the sprinkler and the one playing with the ball
That moose that slipped tried to commit insurance fraud lol
The third clip is the most Canadian thing I've ever seen. God bless you Canada 🇨🇦
Their flag should have a Moose in it not a leaf😁
What is a Canada?
#3 is licking of the road salt.
The moose missed its flight so he’s mad. The Santa inflatable’s puncture wounds can not be blamed on the neighborhood hoodlums. But my favorite is the courageous woman cooling down a massive moose with a hose - he must have been a prize fighter and this is his rub down.
#9 Just getting some morning coffee for my lady, at Turkey Hill.
What a gentleman.
The woman at 1:25 can water that moose all day and it won't make it grow any bigger.
That moose, bitch slapping the lawn mower.. absolutely made me wheeze 😂😂😂.
That first one was a moose disguised at an Elk 🤣🤣
Love those moose, so cute ❤
And one animal that kills more humans than bears that's why it's my favorite animal
A couple members of my family work at Game and Parks and they feed buffalo and elk at a wildlife center. They say you have to be much more careful around the elk, they are feisty as hell.
That big bull laying down getting the shower from the lady was one majestic animal, damn!
Creatures minding traffic laws are adorable. Moose in the crosswalk.
Bison herd on the move in the correct direction and lane.
Deer herd waiting for traffic to stop before crossing the road.
Thank you to the people who make what little room is left for the wildlife. Included, not cull or other disturbing acts against them.
loved the one with the family playing with the water sprinkler
These were good moose moments. Cheers.
Best video I've seen all day! It's great to see life in action! Thanks!
Moose on the Loose ! ..that sounds like good title for a new board game..
for #8, trying explaining that moose damage to your insurance company lol
Maybe get the video.
That was a bull elk, not a moose
Hi from Scotland hope you're all safe and well my friends 👍😉✌️
Hi back from North Carolina (USA). I love your country. Stay well!
I have hemorrhoids.
The baby moose rescued from the river, "All that effort and i am still on the wrong side of the river".
Number 5 happened at the airport I work at, those yearlings show up occasionally after being driven off by their mothers
And I thought it was outrageous that we have wild boars in the streets of Rome....
Poor kids… I know it’s natural, but I feel sad for them being driven away.
Do they per chance, develop the urge to leave,, while the mother develops the urge to run them off?
0:07 "She said I'm handsome. Let's gooooooooooo!" - Moose
#2 GOOD MOMMY !!! ❤❤❤❤
Such magnificent creatures. The first clip "bugling" is an elk. The second clip is a cow (mother) elk not a papa.
Second clip isn’t an elk
Oops, my mistake. I meant 2nd clip is a cow moose, not a bull moose. :)
No animals were harmed, can’t say the same for cars, Santa, and lawn’s.
When I was a teen, I was portaging my Grumman. Weighted down by both the food pack and utility pack, my head was down trudging along a 1000 rod trail and ran right into the biggest moose I've ever seen, even in photographs. We both scared each other so much, I dropped the packs and canoe and ran one way, and the moose ran the other. I don't know about the animal, but I had to change into my brown pants.
Sometimes you just wish you could tell animals that you just need to pass by and that nobody is gonna get hurt.
Thank you for that. The moose were awesome!
Moose are very cute live them so much
Thank You, News flares I really appreciate that Humorous Lift this morning. Those are Terrific Clip's. Personally I just Loved Everyone 💘😌👍❤️🤔😃🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That second moose reminds me of weirdly competitive people on the freeway that speed up or edge to the side of their lane when someone moving faster is about to pass them by. lol
bro saw an albino moose holy
Number 12, what a hero!
No he's not a hero he just took a semi aquatic herbivore out of the water then put he's smell all over it and now all other moose and deer will probably reject it cause it smells like human unless it's washed really well but that's not gonna happen in the wild
You may need to learn the difference between elk and moose.
Spirit moose. Whoa 😮
That albino moose looked amazing
these are great. Just saw a moose a couple weeks ago walking through Anchorage ahhaha.
Elk in first shot.
That first one was an elk my guy
Truly amazing and funny too 😂😂😂😂
That first clip is the funniest looking moose I've ever seen! 😊
I wonder if that lawnmower is covered by his homeowners insurance? Lol
Guys that first video isn't a Moose. that's an Elk.
#2 is everything!!!🥰🥰♥️
And I bet you think Santa has a team of flying donkeys too...
Last one was showing its fancy footwork going out for the soccer team
Amazing creatures
Love how the first clip is of an Elk…
Your very first, "Moose", was and ELK!
