Putting the finishing touches up on site work for the future gas station. Remove 12 trees and 110 dump truckloads of dirt. All of this was for future views, as the permits are not ready yet.

How do you calculate how much dirt is in the pile

The surveyor comes out with a data collector. He goes around the base of the pile. Then he goes on top of the pile and goes around the top edge. That gives him elevation, and square footage. From there its mathematical.
