One more wonderful lesson!! It's amazing hearing Thiago's English. His pronouciation and confidence to speak inspire us to keep learning and improve our speaking skill. I hope I'm able to reach it one day too!! ❤️
Tiago i was born on a farm called prazeres! I started studying english when i was.thirty years old in 1996! I can talk to you in english very well! Because i understand almost everything you say!
Listening was always my biggest enemy during my English journey, but that was because I didn't take the initiative to listen to a podcast, watch TV shows and movies, or consume whatever content in English. I just did the listening exercises on Duolingo (huge mistake). Since I listen to English content (with and without subtitles) every single day, I started to understand what the speakers were saying gradually. My recommendation is to begin to listen to content about English learning because English teachers (native or not) put more attention and emphasis on their pronunciation, which makes the experience more understandable and enjoyable (at least for me). Eventually, you'll be able to listen to podcasts, or watch UA-cam videos about any topic with more confidence because you'll recognize the basis of English speech. Nothing else to say, thank you, guys!
Thank you for your tips 🙏, At the beginning I were just reading some vocabulary books with many difficulties because the pronunciation is not easy for beginners. I will try to do what you are saying.
Amazing! Everyone who want to improve their listening skill should watch this video. Instead of wasting your time trying methods that actually don't work just follow the advices provided in this lesson. On thing I realised during my learning process is that the more I learned about alternative prononciations the easier it was to understand the natives speaker. And I can say you guys help me a lot with this essential skill. A tone of applause!
I remember that some time ago I couldn't understand even 40% of the podcast, especially understand Eaten which is a nasal speaker (he speaks most of the time with his nose), but now I understand clearly more than 80% whatever episode. Thank guys! You helped a lot!
I watched this podcast a 1 year ago, I gotta say , I didn't understand anything without subtitles, but, now I understand very well ,and I'm so happy cuz I get it now without subtitles.Thank you so much .
I really appreciate the day I discovered this channel. In the past, it was incredibly difficult for me to grasp this language, but now most people think that I grew up or studied with the native English speakers while on the contrary I've never enjoyed such privilege. Most students are finding it difficult to learn this language, but I'm pretty sure that they can improve if they can come across this channel.
I am studying English now, but I think listening practice is going well I hope that I will continue to listen hard and improve my English Thank you for this kind of broadcast

Another awesome podcast. Thank you for share this lesson to us. By the way, I wanted to know what Ethan meant when he interrupted Thiago saying "just/those word chunks, right?" just here: 14:12 . Was because Thiago got off topic a bit or something? I'm not sure about it. I'd like to know what "just/those word chunks" means in this case.
