- Teamwork brings the coble, Summer Rose ashore with her catch after a day's fishing the North Sea with coble, Prosperity waiting her turn offshore. The sun was shining, but it was 4C at North Landing. Next time a school teacher says they say they have had a hard day at work, tell them to watch this. This is hard work - cold, wet, dangerous, underpaid and undervalued, and without 13 weeks holiday a year. Well done lads, tight lines!
That old tractor there is now abandoned as of 2017 at the top of the ramp
can i still launch my 17 ft boat from there still havent been for some years but used to launch my dads boat from there till dick smith one of the anglers had heart attack while walking down the slope. as its a fair walk down when your in yours 60s. one of my fav places ive spent so many years going there as a young lad. now its my time to follow my dads boat.
It's one of the locations in the Dads Army film, as was old town in Bridlington.
