Great honest genuine review Jeff!! 👏 They all looked like great wings. Going to be amazing going from that 29m down to a 23m. Lots of love from everyone at The Parahooners 😘
I liked your review. I've had the H3 22 for over a year and love it. It took some getting used to but I think its a great overall wing for people that want to fly long distance. The landings are super easy with as much flare authority that it carries. Good luck wit the Luna..
I love the Luna as my second wing! The Nuc 4 is also a really good option. I tried the Speedster 3, 24m later, but it's not as agile. Perhaps needed a smaller one, but all three are good options =)
Yeah, the Sirocco is the same design as the speedster, but with a lighter fabric, so it's easier to launch. It's also not as agile as the Luna 2 or the Nuc 4. Perhaps tying the tip steering it gets better, but the one I flew didn't have it.
Hi Jeff, you are starting to realise the difference in energy between different classification of wings. The Hadron XX is more advanced then the H3. The Hadron XX will lock into a spiral. The secret to landing performance wings is to keep the fast. Most performance wings are not landed fully trimmed in. Did you read the manuals before flying them as they have lots of details about the trim settings. I'm glad you enjoyed the wings. The Luna 2 is much more of a paraglider setup so you will get more feedback in the rougher air. Does the manual mention about active flying in rough air or trim out?
Hey Giles! Yeah, I’m sure they are different, but it wasn’t very noticeable in my short flights on them 😅 Indeed, I like to have extra energy on landing, I don’t think I’ve ever landed fully trimmed in 😅 I didn’t read the manuals, but I did ask the owners for basic/important instructions, since I knew the earlier Hadrons had a different speed system. The manual on the Luna tells you to trim out and pilot actively - you can use the brakes even on full bar, but it’s recommended to use tip steering. It’s very different from the Dudeks, which tell you to trim out and stow your brakes. I didn’t see you in the last PMC, did you not come this time?
Im now in your condition, i ve been flying a very oversize school wing for one year with a top 80, and im going to buy a luna 2. But i prefere a different way of fly. Id like an agile wing to do some wingovers. do you think that hadron 3 will be better?
Hey! I'm really happy with the Luna 2 and doing wingovers and barrell rolls as well! And I haven't even tied 2D steering to it yet, so it's definitely agile enough, and a great wing to learn on. The Hadron being more advanced, is probably not the best platform to start learning, but if you already know how to do a little bit of acro, you'll be fine on either 😉
Hi Kev! I really like the Luna, especially its easy launching characteristics, but the downside is that it's not very efficient - not compared to the Hadron. I believe a 22m Hadron would have served me well too, but I only tested the 20m 🥲
Jef, nice review. I'm very interested in the N4. I currently fly the Sirocco 3 (22m) and Dudek Solo (21m). I am about 109KG all up. It would be interesting to see your impressions of a 20m N4. I have flown a 20m Luna 2. It was definitely a fast wing and I loved the colors. I also have an 80cc motor and did not like the slow climb rate and higher RPM of the Luna2. I also do not like the new Dudek colors....very boring. I am keeping my eye out for a slightly used N4 20m in the old color scheme...
I tried many wings and so far the Luna 2 is my favorite as well. Excellent flight characteristics, tons of feedback, hauls ass, and had glare authority for days. It also looks gorgeous. Great choice! Loved the comparison.
I feel your pain I have a synthesis 1 29 meter. And I think anything will launch easier than the heavy oversized glider we currently have. I'm currently waiting on delivery of a solo 21
🥲 Very nice, man! The Solo is a nice option too! It’s a shame I couldn’t fly it, since Chilly only had the 18m at the time 😅 Dan Jones flew it and he said it was even more spicy than the 22m Nuc 4 😅
Great review! Better than most manufacturers "review" their gliders. Would have been perfect if you also tried the Ozone Speedster 3 for comparison!:D I am really curious how this wing performs in comparison to the wings you showed.
@@MyNameIsJef would be really interesting for me to see. I fly an Ozone Roadster 3 right now - and I am wondering, what my next wing (Luna, Nuclean, Speedster or sth else) should be:)
Great review Jef! I will probably be ready for another wing next year. Good insights, and great choice.
I’ll wait to see what wing you buy next 😉

Thanks for the review. Just hit 100 flights, on a Top80 myself and about the same weight. Looking for my next wing now.
