You totally missed what she was saying. Color blindness is 99.9% of the time an excuse to not deal with the real matters of race and inequality in America. It is a nice way to say "I don't care to address this and now I will stick my head in the sand". Nothing gets solved and nothing moves forward. Basically you are brushing dirt under the rug. Do that enough times and you will trip over the bump. America has been tripping over that bump for a long time. "I am color blind" is an excuse and an idiotic statement.
