- A lot of the brands you'll find in our shop have a rich heritage in motorcycling, and Bell is no exception. They released the world's first full-face helmet in 1963: the Bell Star. A few years later the Moto Star was released to cover the offroad market: snaps for attaching a peak were introduced and the viewport was enlarged so off-road goggles would fit nicely. Bell continued this visionary approach and in the early seventies, the legendary Moto 3 was released. Decades later, the Moto 3 is still one of the most iconic helmets ever to see the light of day. Bell realised the potential and revived the design, keeping the gorgeous retro looks but updating the safety components and giving it a new tri-composite shell.
The Moto 3 does not disappoint, its unbelievably comfortable moisture-wicking lining combined with its light weight make this one of the most comfortable helmets we've ever worn.

Bell needs to bring the FastHouse Checkers back.
My favorite lid...won’t wear anything but Bellmoto lll - great review!
Thanks!
Nice helmet, yes, but I'd probably go for the Shoei X Zero - drop down visor.
What is the jacket reference?
is it enough space to install a bluetooth headset in it? it look little small for that?? is anyone install one in there moto3? thanks
I tried the bell on wanted a helmet for spring but just too snug so i went for the shoei x zero even that gave my ears pain and they even bled i am size M 58cm the shoei J.O fits well just saying all the best for you and your team stay safe and healthy.
Ouch! Sorry to hear that, it's sometimes tricky to get the right fit as we are all different and brands have different sizing. Glad to hear that the J.O fitted nicely! keep well and safe too! - Iza
Love it!
Thanks!!
I ride a sportster and like the look a lot but I would ride it with those glasses on, I'm afraid tho that the exposed upper Nose cheek area could be hit by all sorts of insects etc, is that a problem or is the chin shield keeping it all off?
Hi. The chin shield protects the nose area pretty well and with large goggles like the ones mentioned on the video the face is protected well but of course you might feel some debris once in a while. It's all down to a personal preference to what style of helmet you want to have! :) - Iza
Very cool helmet... Could you please tell me where I can get the goggles in this video? Thx!
Most of the Goggles used by us in the videos are the Barstow 100% which can be found here: www.urbanrider.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=100%25 - Iza :)
A question....I wear glasses. Are the 100% Barstow suitable with glasses under it? I now have a 100% Accuri OTG, but truly like the Barstow goggles.
Hi Rudd, it all depends on the frame of the glasses you have. If they are a thin frame it should work just fine! - Iza
How does the size compare to the bell bullit? I have an XS in the bullit and was wondering if I should get the Xs or a S
Hi Maria, it's always very tricky to advise on the fit as until you try it on you can't be sure. Brands tend to have some differences even between their models. In the Bullitt XS is 54-55 cm where as in the Moto 3 is 53-54 cm. It might be worth measuring your head circumference to double checking what your measurement is to see what size would work best, a fulls size guide can be found on the product page on our website. Hope this helps - Iza
links to the goggles?
Hi Marc. You can find the entire 100% range that we do here: www.urbanrider.co.uk/brands/100-percent-goggles.html - Iza
Is this helmet suitable for driving around the city? If you drive at low speeds and on a scrambler type motorcycle)
It is, we do recommend a pair of Goggles with it to protect your eyes from any debris and wind - Iza :)
@@UrbanRiderlondon Of course, with protective glasses😁. Thanks for the answer)
Can the decals be easily removed for a cleaner look?
Hi, I' afraid that the decals is not something that can be removed. - Iza
What is the model name of the Goggle’s at the 1:04 timestamp?
Hi Oliver, they are one of the 100% Barstow Goggles but sadly this specific design is out of stock. You can find the other designs here: www.urbanrider.co.uk/brands/100-percent-goggles.html Hope this helps! - Iza
@@UrbanRiderlondon awesome thank you!
I really like the looks of the moto 3, but at 250 pounds I'll have to toughen up a bit to support that kind of weight 👍👍👍👍👍
I know bit price for what it is (without much modern tech but we know we are paying for the look and brand), plus extra quid for goggles. but if you are not too fussed about specific colour scheme, the some are available for under £200 from reputable online dealers. I got mine on amber, was hesitant but I love it. Personally I wouldn't buy a used helmet but these are available in good condition too as most users only do occasional summer riding in them and get bored! Good luck.
Very heavy
Shame it doesn't have a flip-down visor. Does the Shoei Ex-zero have an opening as large as this helmet? Visibility is important.
The Ex-Zero has just a little bit smaller opening. - Iza
@@UrbanRiderlondon Thanks.
The Batman had it
His was a Shoei i believe
No me quiero imaginar cómo debe ir en carretera en invierno y a velocidad moderada. Pasar frío ¿yo? Ruidoso ¿eso qué es?... El diseño lo es todo, está claro, pero útil y cómodo va a ser que no...
can i wear eyeglasses within the 100% BARSTOW GOGGLES - BONZORRO?
Hi, it all depends on your glasses frame but it should work fine! - Iza
22 months ago 😊
Looking at getting one of these but my head is Godzilla sized 🥲
Lovely. Is'nt?✌😎👌
Sure is!
I like the illuminati version! Great for riding in the Bohemian Grove!
You are very hanysom
