Hello, how do you achieve such biweekly returns? As a single parent i haven't been able to get my own house due to financial struggles, but my faith in God remains strong.
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Elizabeth Ann Larson) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her 😊 from Brisbane Australia🇦🇺
when i first heard part of this message it was thru Joe Crews' book, the beast the dragon and the woman. several week later, maybe 6 weeks or so later i got a flyer for "Insight to the 80's prophecy lectures." i can't remember exactly how long it ran but it was much longer than just 14-15 meetings. i guess i'm "old school" in that way, preferring the longer lectures. today though, much of the world, and Christianity, want their religion like their food, either as a drive thru or within 10 minutes after placing an order in a sit down restaurant. it's sad that many spend more hours a day watching killings, adultery, all kinds of formication and sin sitting on their backsides yet find it hard to spend 10 or even 5 minutes in God's word or prayer. we don't have to spend an hour in prayer all at once. we can pray about what's on our mind and in our hearts, be it whatever time that is and keep thru out the day an attitude of prayer and pray thru out the day. here is my point about the longer series. many who attend churches know very little about bible prophecy other than what they're told, do little investigation, and nothing of Daniel 8, 10-12. those who have studied in particular, Daniel 8 interpret this chapter as a complete different chapter and no association with Daniel 9, and attribute the little horn of that chapter to being Antiochus Epiphanes. he was a despicable character, doing some blasphemous things, yet he is not the little horn power, or the abomination of desolation. just as Daniel 7, Revelation 12, 13, 14, 17, 18 give marks to identify the little horn, antichrist, Daniel 8 lays out clearly that the abomination of desolation can not be Antiochus Epiphanes. first the kingdom of Greece was divided after Alexander's death in 323 BC. though at one point there were 5 divisions, Antigonus usurped part of the Seleucid kingdom but it was regained by Seluceus. Ptolemy had Egypt, and Cassander had Greece and Macedonia, Lysimachus took Thrace and Asia Minor. Cassander's kingdom pretty much faded but Lysimachus drove out Antigonus from Asia Minor (Turkey and some surrounding areas) but later fell in battle to Seluceus when he attempted to gain Asia Minor around 281BC. over the years there were several kings, and there were at least 1 of the Seleucid kings, probably 2 who made treaties with the kings past the far east of their kingdom, India, and in the treaty deals some lands were released and war elephants were obtained by the Seleucid kings. during these times, the Seleucid kings, more interested in spreading their kingdom into Egypt, lost land to the Parthians, who set up their own rule and kingdom. looking at the prophecy of Daniel 8, it says of this little horn, Dan 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. notice this little horn waxes exceeding great as opposed to Alexander the Great being described as waxing very great. exceeding great is mightier than very great. did Antiochus kingdom ever reach as great as Alexander's? it never did. some claim he did but his kingdom never reached as far east as Alexander's. he did go east and recaptured some of the Parthian kingdom that his predecessor's had lost but no further conquest. so he fails on extending or waxing exceeding great to the east. he did toward the south to at one point capturing many Egyptian cities until he came to Alexandria. unknown, or at least it appears so, the Egyptians had sent for help to the Roman senate for help who sent the ambassador Gaius Popillius Laenas, who presented Antiochus with the ultimatum that he evacuate Egypt and Cyprus immediately, drawing a circle around Antiochus after he asked for time to consider it, telling him before he stepped out of the circle he had to give his answer. he withdrew his armies. exceedingly great? i don't think so. this was in 168BC. Antiochus did have battles and ruled over the holy land some time but was driven out by the Maccabean wars. again, not what we would call waxing exceedingly great. he did defame the temple by sacrificing a pig on the altar, but the description of the abomination of desolation is that he would destroy the temple and the city, which Antiochus Epiphanes never did. he died in 164BC. in Daniel 8:22,23 we have further description of this little horn. "Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power." this tells of the 4 that would come after Alexander the Great, Lysimachus, Cassander, Seleucus and Ptolemy. the next verse, "And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up." as seen, Antiochus Epiphanes, while ruthless, and wicked, at times could not be a king of fierce countenance, for his kingdom slowly disintegrated. the little horn was to arise toward the end of the 4 divisions of Alexander's kingdom. the Seleucid kingdom, the last of it's kings fell to the Roman general Pompey in 63BC and in 31BC the last of the Hellenist kingdoms, Egypt, fell to Rome at the time of Marc Antony and Cleopatra. as we read in verse 23, " "And in the latter time of their kingdom." taking the time of 323BC to the last of the Hellenist kingdom, 31BC and Antiochus reigning from 175BC to 164BC. here is a list of all the kings of the Seleucid kings: Seleucid rulers Seleucus I Nicator (Satrap 311-305 B.C.E., King 305 B.C.E.-281 B.C.E.) Antiochus I Soter (co-ruler from 291, ruled 281-261 B.C.E.) Antiochus II Theos (261-246 B.C.E.) Seleucus II Callinicus (246-225 B.C.E.) Seleucus III Ceraunus (or Soter) (225-223 B.C.E.) Antiochus III the Great (223-187 B.C.E.) Seleucus IV Philopator (187-175 B.C.E.) Antiochus IV Epiphanes (175-164 B.C.E.) Antiochus V Eupator (164-162 B.C.E.) Demetrius I Soter (161-150 B.C.E.) Alexander I Balas (150-145 B.C.E.) Demetrius II Nicator (first reign, 145-138 B.C.E.) Antiochus VI Dionysus (or Epiphanes) (145-140 B.C.E.?) Diodotus Tryphon]] (140?-138 B.C.E.) Antiochus VII Sidetes (or Euergetes) (138-129 B.C.E.) Demetrius II Nicator (second reign, 129-126 B.C.E.) Alexander II Zabinas (129-123 B.C.E.) Cleopatra Thea (126-123 B.C.E.) Seleucus V Philometor (126/125 B.C.E.) Antiochus VIII Grypus (125-96 B.C.E.) Antiochus IX Cyzicenus (114-96 B.C.E.) Seleucus VI Epiphanes Nicator (96-95 B.C.E.) Antiochus X Eusebes Philopator (95-92 B.C.E. or 83 B.C.E.) Demetrius III Eucaerus (or Philopator) (95-87 B.C.E.) Antiochus XI Epiphanes Philadelphus (95-92 B.C.E.) Philip I Philadelphus (95-84/83 B.C.E.) Antiochus XII Dionysus (87-84 B.C.E.) (Tigranes I of Armenia) (83-69 B.C.E.) Seleucus VII Kybiosaktes or Philometor (70s B.C.E.-60s B.C.E.?) Antiochus XIII Asiaticus (69-64 B.C.E.) Philip II Philoromaeus (65-63 B.C.E.)...........we see Antiochus is not even in the middle but before it. another fail. lastly let's look at how Jesus saw the "abomination of desolation." the discourse is in Matther 24:15 and Luke 21:20-24. in Matthew's account we see "when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, " and in Lukes account, "when ye shall Jerusalem surrounded by armies" how can He say see to those who are present if He is referring to some over 180 years ago? another fail. therefore, the little horn that arose out of one of "them," the "them" cannot be referring to one of the horns of the he goat, but one of the four winds, which represent the four points of the compass, east, west, north, south. did a power rise from the four points of the compass" yes, from the west, Rome, just a Daniel 2 and 7 says it would. i say this or present this in the basis that we can preach, teach. lecture what we know is true. yet for many who are stuck in a long standing tradition, or understanding, they will not believe until they see how what they have believed to be true, is not correct. for many, they will not come ot have an open mind when it's been closed so long until something shows them their incorrection. again, i understand because of the fast paced of the world we live in for shortening a series, or it may be for monetary reasons, the price to hold a long series. if it's for the first reason though, in my not so important thinking, i'd rather have a handful of real converts who understand the full message than 50 or more who are not grounded in it, and possibly leave a little later.
