I grew up in Southern California.. I just turned 38 and 3 weeks ago I drove an hour and 50 minutes to play this course! It’s public! We got out at 7:48am for $85 and it’s honestly my new favorite public course!! Greens are so damn fire! Bunkers are real sand! And the layout is kind of like an AZ golf course! Super green grass and kind of desert on the sides! Playing again this Sunday!
It’s a pretty gettable golf course! We played from the blues and I shot a shitty 80! Wasn’t bad, wasn’t good! I like to end rounds in the 70’s
That hole 8 is where my round went south lol! That water hole is not a driver like you hit! I splashed about 20 yards before your ball in the water, for me it’s a 4 iron out right and a little flip wedge in! On Sunday that’s what I’m doing and my goal is to shoot 75 the second time I’ve played that course

2:25 - Man do I relate to this! My drivers and 3 woods always had marks on the top of the club. Always had (retired from golf due to bad back) issues with a steep over the top swing path. 🤷
